When I first pulled up to Azure Staycation by Marco, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect – the location along the West Service Road in Paranaque can feel a bit industrial at first glance, but man, was I wrong to judge too quickly. This five-star property is tucked inside the Azure Urban Resort Residences complex, and once you get past the main entrance, it’s like stepping into a completely different world.

The thing that struck me right away was how quiet it gets once you’re inside, which is pretty remarkable considering you’re still technically in the hustle of Metro Manila. I mean, you can still hear the occasional jeepney horn in the distance, but the sound design of the building really does buffer most of the city noise. The lobby has this modern, almost minimalist vibe – lots of clean lines and natural light streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend arriving after 3 PM because they seem to get a bit backed up earlier in the day when the cleaning crews are still finishing up rooms.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the attention to detail in the suites themselves. The kitchenette actually comes stocked with decent cookware (not just the flimsy stuff you usually get), and there’s a proper washing machine – which, let’s be honest, is a game-changer when you’re doing a longer stay in the Philippines’ humidity. The air conditioning is powerful enough to actually cool the space down quickly, and the water pressure in the shower is consistently strong. You know what I appreciated most? The blackout curtains actually block out light completely, which is harder to find than you’d think in Manila hotels. The WiFi holds up well too, even when I was video calling back home during peak evening hours. Parking is included and pretty spacious – you won’t be doing any tight maneuvering to squeeze into your spot. The pool area gets busy on weekends with families, but weekday afternoons it’s usually pretty peaceful. One small thing – the elevators can be a bit slow during rush times, but honestly, that’s my only real complaint about the whole experience.

• It was ok generally but the process is not smooth as we are expecting inspite of some guidelines given my the host – Anonymous from United Arab Emirates – May 20, 2025 (8/10)

  It’s ok but not smooth process
  
  What could be improved: property is good but we have some challenges during the stay which are the following
  
  A)pool is not free you have to pay Php 250 each person regardless if your adult or kid
  
  B) one unit room 1907 has no proper assistant during our check out and it took time for us to wait in the security to get the clearance
  
  C) no proper lounge to stay if crowded some of the family members needs to go out from the building and stay outside only one representative is allowed to talk to security
  
  D) while checking out in one unit 1907 the assistant person did not inform in advance that the clearance was given already to security so we waited for 1 hour just to check if we can go since no representative to assist us so we keep calling this agent in this room
  
  E) the security deposit for the condo unit was not given during the check out we have advise that to wait until 2pm till they clear the unit whereas the check out is 12:00 noon so another 2 hours to wait to claim back the security deposit
  
  It was ok generally but the process is not smooth and there are some challenges during stay and check out time
