Lanson Place Mall of Asia Manila Overview
You know what really caught me off guard about Lanson Place Mall of Asia Manila? I expected just another business hotel near the mall, but this place actually feels like a proper urban retreat. The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that you’ve stepped away from the chaos of Manila – and trust me, that’s saying something in a city that never really sleeps.
The location is honestly brilliant if you think about it. Sure, you’re right in the Mall of Asia Complex on Palm Coast Avenue, which sounds touristy as hell, but here’s the thing – you’re also perfectly positioned between the airport and the business districts without being stuck in either. I mean, you can literally walk to SM Mall of Asia in your pajamas if you want (though I don’t recommend it), but you’re also close enough to Makati that a quick Grab ride doesn’t break the bank. The five-star treatment really shows in the details too – the rooms are spacious by Manila standards, and I particularly loved how quiet everything stays despite being in such a busy area. They must have invested in some serious soundproofing because even with Seaside Boulevard right there, you won’t hear much traffic noise once you’re inside.
What really sells this place for me is how the staff genuinely seems to get what travelers need. The concierge actually knows the area beyond just pointing you toward tourist traps – they’ll tell you which jeepney routes make sense, where to grab decent Filipino breakfast nearby (there’s this little place about two blocks away that locals hit up), and honestly, they’re pretty realistic about timing for everything. Manila traffic is no joke, and these guys won’t sugarcoat how long it takes to get anywhere. The fitness center and pool area are solid too, nothing Instagram-fancy but everything works well and stays clean. I spent a few evenings up there just watching the sunset over Manila Bay, which – okay, it’s a bit hazy most days, but when it’s clear? Pretty spectacular. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevators can get a bit slow during peak times when the mall crowds are heaviest, but that’s more of a timing issue than a real problem. Overall, it’s one of those places where you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth without any nasty surprises, and in Manila’s hotel scene, that’s actually rarer than you’d think.
Hotels near me in Manila offer convenient access to Rizal Park, where guests can easily walk to Intramuros historic district, Manila Cathedral, and authentic Filipino restaurants serving traditional cuisine.

Breakfast buffet offered diverse of hot & cold food items- favorite filipino dishes like adobo tocino, bread pastries soybean pudding healthy options (cereals nuts) fresh fruit juices & ht asian noodles. The view of the seaside from the breakfast restaurant was great and relaxing. The coffee was just of the right strength/brew.
