Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name BGC Beautiful Large 1 Bedroom Condo Sleeps 3 Adults, I thought it sounded more like a Craigslist listing than a place I’d actually want to stay. But you know what? Sometimes the most awkwardly named places surprise you, and this four-star spot in the Seibu Tower absolutely did.

The thing about staying in Taguig is that you’re right in the heart of Bonifacio Global City, which honestly feels like a completely different country compared to old Manila. I mean, the streets are actually clean here, and you can walk around at night without constantly looking over your shoulder. This condo sits right on the corner of 6th Avenue and 24th Street, and I actually loved that location – you’re literally a five-minute walk from all those fancy restaurants and bars everyone talks about, but you’re just far enough from the main BGC strip that you don’t get the weekend party noise. The Seibu Tower itself is one of those sleek residential buildings that makes you feel slightly more sophisticated than you probably are.

What really got me was how spacious this place actually is. Most hotel rooms in Manila feel like you’re living in a closet, but this bedroom genuinely fits three adults without anyone having to sleep on a glorified bench. The living area has these floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over the BGC skyline – and honestly, watching the sun set behind all those glass towers while you’re sipping a San Miguel is pretty hard to beat. The kitchen is fully equipped too, which saved me a fortune since eating out in BGC every single meal will absolutely destroy your budget (learned that the hard way on my first visit). There’s something really nice about being able to grab fresh mangoes from the market and actually have somewhere proper to prepare them.

The building amenities are solid without being flashy – there’s a decent pool area where you can escape the Manila heat, and the security is the kind of professional-but-friendly setup that makes you feel safe without feeling watched. Check-in was surprisingly smooth for the Philippines, and the staff actually spoke excellent English, which isn’t always a given. One small thing that caught me off guard – the elevators can get pretty busy during rush hours since it’s a residential building, so factor in an extra few minutes if you’re trying to get somewhere on a schedule.

What I really appreciated was how this place strikes that sweet spot between hotel convenience and apartment comfort. You get daily housekeeping if you want it, but you also have the freedom to spread out and live a bit. BGC has this weird bubble effect where you forget you’re in one of the most chaotic cities in Southeast Asia, and staying in a proper condo rather than a cramped hotel room just amplifies that feeling. Plus, with High Street and all those shopping centers just a short walk away, you’re never more than ten minutes from decent coffee, which is crucial for surviving Manila’s humidity.

  The wide and very spacious area where you can freely move around the living and bedroom area. The cleanliness of the place and thanks to Ms. Jessa for cleaning it carefully. For the facilities in the kitchen made us enjoy eating and we had fun cooking our food. Very cold in all areas. I love the cabinet with plenty of cloth hangers. Working table and office chair were grear. Very spacious B&R. We really love the water heater. Very quiet though it's beside the road. Walking distance to the malls and restaurants. The place is very secure and safe with CCTV for each unit. We just left our door unlocked when we arrived to get some stuff for a few hours. Available lift all the time. We came in and out anytime. Walked around the nearby places in the middle of the night was so safe. Nothing to worry even if you do walking early AM. What we asked from Audrey were provided. The owner even gave us an early checked in and free grab ride from NAIA. Water is superb no worries. I loved the smell in the lobby. Very dependable and kind staff. Thanks for taking care of the jacket that my daughter left and facilitated the request and was picked up by Lalamove. Thanks to Sir Julius and company. Hope we can come back and enjoy the perks and privileges given to us. We enjoyed our stay. The comfort it gave us when we slept and relaxed. The safety was great. For the umbrella that helped us moved around even it's raining. To our host AUDREY – thank you for you made our stay worry free, for addressing our needs (extra towel) and concerns.   What could be improved: The iron that was not returned by the other guest in their unit. Wifi connection lost its connectivity at times. But it's out of their control. Maybe the problem was with the internet provider. No dining table and chairs. 🙁
