The rooms are actually sophisticated, with subtle nods to the K-pop aesthetic that feel more like thoughtful design choices than screaming fan service. I stayed on the fourth floor (that’s where most of the hotel rooms are), and the soundproofing was surprisingly solid considering you’re basically next door to one of Manila’s busiest areas. The beds are proper comfortable too – none of that rock-hard mattress nonsense you sometimes get in themed hotels. And the bathroom, well, it’s got one of those rainfall showers that actually has decent water pressure, which is honestly half the battle in this part of the city.

Here’s the thing that really sold me on this place though – the staff genuinely knows their stuff about the area. When I asked about getting to Intramuros without dealing with EDSA traffic (because let’s face it, that’s a nightmare), the front desk guy gave me this detailed route using the LRT that saved me probably an hour each way. Plus, if you’re into the whole Mall of Asia scene, you’re basically living next door to the bay area where people go for those sunset walks and weekend concerts. The hotel shuttle to the mall runs pretty regularly too, though honestly, it’s close enough to walk if the weather’s cooperating. I’d say this place hits that sweet spot where you get the themed experience without sacrificing actual comfort or location – and in a city like Manila where location can make or break your trip, that’s saying something.

  What could be improved: The only thing we didn’t like about the property is the fact that there were cockroaches circulating around the condo even after spraying bug spray.
