I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Casa Tagpuan at Manhattan Heights on General Romulo Avenue, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. But you know what they say about judging books by their covers, because this place completely surprised me once I stepped inside. The lobby has this warm, homey feeling that’s actually pretty rare in Quezon City – most places go for that sterile modern look, but Casa Tagpuan feels more like staying at a really well-appointed friend’s place.

What really got my attention was how quiet it is, considering you’re right in the middle of everything. I mean, General Romulo can get pretty busy during rush hour, but somehow the rooms block out most of the street noise. The staff mentioned they specifically designed it that way, which makes sense given how well I slept there. Speaking of the rooms – they’re not huge, but they’re thoughtfully laid out with these little touches that show someone actually cared about the guest experience. The bathroom has proper water pressure (thank goodness), and there’s enough outlets near the bed for all your devices, which honestly is half the battle these days.

The thing that really sets this four-star spot apart is the location itself. You’re walking distance to some genuinely good local food – there’s this tapsilog place about two blocks down that locals line up for, and you can actually get to the main shopping areas without dealing with too much traffic if you time it right. The front desk folks know the area really well too, which is surprisingly helpful when you’re trying to figure out the best way to get around Manila’s… let’s call it “creative” traffic patterns. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which if you’ve spent any time driving in this city, you’ll appreciate. I noticed they keep the common areas spotless without being obsessive about it, and there’s this small but decent fitness setup if you need to work off all that amazing Filipino food. The whole place just feels well-managed in a way that doesn’t feel corporate – more like someone’s actually paying attention to the details that matter when you’re traveling.

The unit is clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough for our family, making it an ideal home away from home. Additionally, the host is very accommodating and responsive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. Its location is a major plus, offering quick access to the mall, market, and everything else you might need during your stay. Overall, it’s a great choice and highly recommendable to others looking for a relaxing and accessible getaway.
  
  What could be improved: I wouldn’t say I disliked it, but I was surprised to see that the second bed, which I really appreciated during our first staycation, had been removed. Fortunately, they provided a separate mattress, so it still worked out well.

  Overall, we loved our stay. It's very clean and comfortable. Facilities are complete from kitchen to bathroom. We have what we need. The host is also easy to contact. Our stay is very smooth from check-in to check-out. Given instructions are clear. Sir Lem made sure well accommodated. Will surely booked his unit again!

  We liked the overall aesthetics of the unit. Everything was neat and clean. We loved how smooth the self-check in and check out process was and that the owners are very responsive to queries before and during our stay. It is also in a good location which is just across a mall and there’s convenience store right before the entrance of the building.

  Located on the 29th floor with a panoramic view of Metro Manila, this condo unit is big enough for five persons! Clean, spacious, organized! The location was super close to SM Mall, Ali Mall, and Gateway Mall and other restaurants and Smart Araneta Coliseum. MRT and LRT stations are within reach! What's the best was the super accommodating owner of the place! He even offered us for a tour around Cubao area! I will surely recommend this!
