The unit itself feels like someone actually lives there, which I realize sounds obvious for a homestay, but you’d be amazed how many places feel sterile and unlived-in. This one has that comfortable, broken-in quality where the couch actually supports your back and the kitchen has proper knives that cut things. The Wi-Fi is legitimately fast – I was working remotely during my stay and had zero issues with video calls, even during what seemed like peak evening hours when everyone in the building was probably streaming something. The two bedrooms are well thought out, with blackout curtains that actually block out the Taguig morning light if you’re dealing with jet lag. I mean, the master bedroom gets a bit warm in the afternoon since it faces west, but that’s pretty typical for this area and honestly, the AC handles it fine.

What really sold me on this four-star setup was how it sits in the neighborhood – you’re close enough to BGC that you can grab a taxi or Grab without any drama, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with all that construction noise and weekend party crowds. There’s a decent 7-Eleven about a five-minute walk away, and I stumbled across this little carinderia that serves incredible sisig just around the corner on the main road. The building itself is pretty quiet, which honestly was a relief after staying in some places where you hear every conversation in the hallway. Parking seemed straightforward when my friends visited, though I was mostly walking or using ride-shares so I can’t speak to long-term parking situations. The whole experience just felt… easy, I guess? Like staying at a friend’s place who happens to have their life together and doesn’t make you feel like you’re imposing. For the price point and location, it’s one of those finds that makes you want to keep it secret so it doesn’t get completely booked up.
