Tucked away on Chino Roces Avenue in the heart of Makati, it’s got this residential vibe that actually makes you feel like you’re living in Manila rather than just passing through as another tourist.

The location is pretty brilliant, actually. You’re close enough to all the Makati business district action – I could walk to Greenbelt in about ten minutes – but far enough from the main drags that you don’t get that constant honking and traffic noise that can drive you crazy in other parts of the city. The building itself has this modern, clean aesthetic that doesn’t try too hard to be flashy, which I appreciated after staying in some overly ornate places elsewhere in the Philippines. What really sold me on this four-star setup was the apartment-style rooms with actual kitchenettes – not those tiny hotel fridges and coffee makers, but real cooking space. I mean, when you’re staying somewhere for more than a few nights, being able to grab fresh mangoes from the local market and actually prepare them properly makes such a difference.

The staff here genuinely knows their stuff about the neighborhood, too. They pointed me toward this incredible little Filipino breakfast spot just two blocks away that I never would’ve found on my own, and they were spot-on about which times to avoid the elevator rush when all the business travelers are heading out. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be the most luxurious place in Manila, but everything just works really well. The Wi-Fi is actually fast (crucial when you’re trying to video call back home), the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, and the beds are genuinely comfortable, not just hotel-marketing comfortable. I’d honestly recommend this place especially if you’re doing any kind of extended stay or if you want that local residential feel while still having proper hotel services. It’s the kind of spot where you can settle in and actually live a bit, rather than just crash between tourist activities.

Travelers should reserve a hotel in Manila at least two months ahead for major events like cultural festivals and religious celebrations, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near popular historic attractions.

  The location is perfect! The building is directly connected to a mall and the MRT Magallanes Station, which is clean and quiet. The beds were also very comfortable. The owner offers a private van service for airport pick-up and drop-off (for an additional fee), which was incredibly convenient for us, especially since we were traveling with a lot of luggage.

  The location is perfect! 15 minutes from NAIA terminal 3, close to Makati, Pasay, SM Mall of Asia and other places. Beds were very comfortable for sleeping and the view was spectacular!

  Check-in & check-out are easy. There are guards in the lobby. There is a Robinson's mall across the street. Plenty of options for food, shopping and entertainment all within walking distance.
  
  What could be improved: Could use an extra shelf in the bathroom off the primary bedroom. Otherwise nothing to dislike.

  The location boasts a very good reputation. It features a small mall and a supermarket conveniently located near the apartment. Additionally, there are restaurants just a few minutes away. The security guards are known for their friendliness. Both the owner and the mother-in-law are exceptionally kind and approachable, swiftly addressing concerns. While the apartment may be small, the rooms offer a pleasant atmosphere with a beautiful view. Overall, the place is highly regarded.

  Clazzy Home was a great choice for our family's stay in Manila. There were two bedrooms, both which had very comfortable beds. The apartment was on the top (31st) floor with great views of the city. There was a mall downstairs which was very convenient for groceries, fast food and shopping. We went around the city by using Grab, and it was easy to navigate to the building. The apartment was furnished like a home, with lot of extra pillows, places to sit, and decorations. The five of us felt a little cramped as the rooms were full and left little space to walk, but at the same time we appreciate having furniture for unpacking and sitting. That is what we end up doing on holiday! John was a great host who picked us up and dropped us off at the airport for a reasonable fee, and responded to our messages promptly. The extras like cookies, drinking water, and coffee were much appreciated.
  
  What could be improved: I think that removing some of the pillows and items on the tables would make the space feel larger.
