The building itself has this modern residential vibe that I actually preferred to the typical hotel atmosphere. It’s quieter, for one thing. The elevators aren’t constantly packed with tour groups, and the hallways have this almost apartment-like feel that made me relax immediately.

What really got me was the attention to detail in the actual room. The kitchen setup isn’t just for show – I’m talking full-sized fridge, decent cookware, the works. Perfect if you want to grab some fresh mangoes from the market down the street (which, by the way, has some of the best tropical fruit I’ve had anywhere). The living area flows naturally into the bedroom space, and honestly, the whole layout just makes sense in a way that a lot of hotels miss. The air conditioning is properly powerful too – crucial for Manila’s humidity. I stayed during one of those particularly muggy weeks in March, and the room stayed perfectly comfortable. The WiFi was solid throughout, which matters when you’re trying to plan your next day or video call home. And here’s something I didn’t expect – the shower pressure is fantastic. You’d be surprised how many places skimp on that detail. The staff has this relaxed professionalism that fits the whole vibe perfectly. Check-in was smooth, they knew the neighborhood well enough to give actual useful recommendations, and they weren’t hovering around trying to upsell you on everything. When I needed directions to the LRT station, the front desk guy drew me a little map showing which exits to use – those kinds of local insights you just can’t get from a chain hotel handbook.
