I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Espacio Hotel on Bayani Road, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like just another business hotel in Taguig. But you know what? This place actually surprised me in all the right ways. The building itself has this clean, modern look that doesn’t scream luxury but definitely whispers “we’ve got our act together.” And after staying here twice now (once for work, once with family), I can say they really do.

What struck me most was how they’ve managed to create this genuinely relaxing atmosphere despite being right in the thick of things. I mean, you’re literally minutes from BGC – Fort Bonifacio Global City for those not familiar with Manila’s business district – but somehow the hotel feels removed from all that chaos. The rooms are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re living in a shoebox, and honestly, the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in a four-star property. The staff seems to actually remember your name after the first day, which is rarer than it should be these days.

Here’s something I really appreciated – the parking situation is actually sorted out, unlike so many places in this area where you’re circling blocks looking for a spot. The breakfast spread is solid without being overwhelming (they do this really good longsilog that hits the spot), and the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, including in the elevator, which saved me during a particularly stressful work call. The pool area is small but well-maintained, and it’s usually quiet in the mornings if you want to swim some laps without dodging kids. One minor thing – the air conditioning can be a bit aggressive, so pack a light sweater if you run cold. But overall, this is one of those places where everything just works the way it’s supposed to, without any unpleasant surprises at checkout.

  The property was very spacious and clean. It had all the amenities that we need, like air conditioning, a fridge, a kettle, television and laundry service. The service of the staff was exceptional. They helped load our luggage to the room and were always quick to offer their help and made our stay more comfortable. They even brought up our cleaned laundry as a courtesy. I will definitely recommend this place and will continue to use this hotel for future trips to the Philippines.
