Eves Urban Haven Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Eves Urban Haven? For a place tucked into the Asteria Residences complex on San Pedro Street, it feels way more spacious and thoughtful than you’d expect from a condo-hotel setup. I mean, when you’re dealing with converted residential units in Paranaque, you usually brace yourself for cramped quarters and thin walls – but this four-star spot actually gets the details right.

The location is honestly pretty smart if you know the area. Being right off Sucat Road means you’re not stuck in the tourist bubble, but you’re also not stranded somewhere inconvenient. There’s this local coffee place downstairs that the front desk guy recommended – turns out he was right, their barako blend is legit. The unit itself (I stayed in what I think was a similar setup to their 508 space) has this clean, almost Scandinavian vibe that feels refreshingly uncluttered. The kitchen area is actually functional too, which is rare – I ended up grabbing groceries from the SM nearby and cooking a couple mornings instead of always eating out.

What really sold me on this place was how quiet it stays, even with Manila’s usual chaos just outside. The Begonia Tower seems well-insulated, and honestly, after a few nights in busier parts of the metro, being able to sleep past 6 AM without construction noise or jeepney horns was kind of a revelation. The staff keeps things low-key but helpful – they sorted out my early check-in without making it feel like a huge favor, and when I needed directions to the better local restaurants (skip the mall food courts, trust me), they knew exactly which turo-turo spots were worth the walk. The whole experience just felt more genuine than those big chain hotels where everything’s polished but somehow soulless. If you’re looking for a base that lets you experience Manila more like a temporary resident than a tourist, this place gets it right without trying too hard to impress you.

Hotel in Manila booking should be done early, especially during festival season when the city hosts internationally celebrated cultural events and street parades at historic venues.

  • Die Unterkunft ist nicht in Goodwil2 (wie Booking zeigt) sondern in San Donisio – Daniel from Switzerland – March 18, 2025 (8/10)

  • One of the best place I’ve stayed in Manila – Jhorene from Philippines – September 6, 2024 (10/10)

The ambiance, appliances available and the property in general is really great. One thing I really love about is the medicine kit. It is the first time I stayed in an Airbnb property with a medicine kit. Aside from that, the owner is approachable and generous. She also stayed super late at night just to wait for us to be able to check in. The place has all the things you need for a comfortable stay. The internet speed is fast so it is a plus for a WFH like me.
