When I first walked into HAVEN on the 28th, I honestly wasn’t expecting much — I mean, there are so many hotels in Manila that promise great views and deliver mediocre experiences. But this four-star property actually delivers on its name. Perched high above the bustling streets of Manhattan in Quezon City, you get this immediate sense of being removed from the chaos below while still being right in the heart of everything. The elevated position provides stunning panoramic views that truly set this property apart from other accommodations in the area.

The Location Advantage

Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re technically in Quezon City, but you feel like you’re floating above Manila’s urban sprawl. The hotel sits in the Manhattan area, which locals know is one of the more upscale pockets of QC. You can walk to decent restaurant options and cafes, but more importantly, you’re close enough to BGC and Makati that a quick Grab ride gets you anywhere you need to be. The parking situation is actually solid too, which anyone who’s driven in Metro Manila will tell you is no small feat.

The Room Experience

My room was on — well, obviously — the 28th floor, and the views are genuinely impressive. During the day, you get this sprawling cityscape that goes on forever, and at night, the lights create this almost cinematic backdrop. The space itself feels modern without being sterile, you know? Clean lines, comfortable bed, and a bathroom that’s bigger than what you’d expect. The air conditioning works perfectly, which is crucial because Manila’s heat can be brutal even with those high-rise breezes.

The hotel’s restaurant serves decent Filipino and international dishes — nothing groundbreaking, but solid comfort food when you don’t want to venture out. What really impressed me was how quiet everything stays despite being in such a busy area. The elevators are fast (trust me, you’ll appreciate this when you’re on the 28th floor), and the staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay comfortable rather than just going through the motions. • Perfect Place for Araneta getaways – Ocampo from Philippines – September 1, 2025 (10/10)

  First the location. 5 mins away lang sa Araneta. Super convenient din kasi maraming kainan na malapit.
  Second, super cozy. Feeling mo bahay mo din talaga. Nakaka at home lang.
  Third, linis ng place. Super bango din.

  The space, room, facilities, safety, smell, cleanliness, lift, amenities, cool place, fresh linens were superb. The kindness and favors given by the host – early checked in, late checked out, iron, etc… Ms. Crisel for addressing our concerns and needs abruptly. We comfortably cooked with the used of their kitchen facilities. Water is superb. I loved the balcony. The place was steps away from the Cubao-Araneta bus port, Alimall, SM- Cubao, Gateway, Araneta Coliseum, Fiesta Carnival, etc… Very safe. Quiet place. We slept comfortably. We loved the bed and the extra foams. With dining table and chair where we ate with ease and comfort. For the freebies – bottled water, coffee, hygiene kit, toilet paper & extra trash bag. Easy checked in & out. There were windows. Clothes rack with plenty of hanger. Hope to book in your place again. Very responsive host and caretaker. Thank you for taking care of us. Thanks also to the satff. Very good registration process upon arrival in the place. Lobby was big and smells good. Good job ms Diane & ms Crisel. 'Til our next booking. Kudos and God bless!
