I mean, there are personal touches everywhere that make you feel like you’re staying with a friend who happens to have really good taste. The kitchen setup is legit too – not just some mini-fridge situation, but actual cooking space if you want to grab ingredients from the local markets instead of eating out every meal.

Here’s what sold me on the place though: the attention to details that actually matter when you’re traveling. The Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine, and – this might sound small but it’s huge – the shower has proper water pressure. Plus, the whole check-in process was refreshingly straightforward. No endless paperwork or awkward small talk, just efficient and friendly. The 9.5 rating makes total sense once you spend time there because it’s clear someone put real thought into what travelers actually need versus what looks good in photos. Sure, it’s not some massive resort with a million amenities you’ll never use, but if you want a genuinely comfortable base for exploring Manila without the sterile hotel feeling, this spot delivers. I’d definitely stay here again, especially since parking wasn’t the nightmare I was expecting in this part of the city.
