What I really appreciated was how the kitchen setup actually works for real cooking, not just reheating takeout (though let’s be honest, with all the incredible food options in Salcedo, you might not use it much). The bedrooms have decent closet space, which sounds boring but trust me, after living out of a suitcase for a few days, it matters. The whole place has this four-star feel without being stuffy – comfortable furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a hotel catalog, if you know what I mean.

Location-wise, this is where things get interesting. Salcedo Village is sort of the sweet spot in Makati – you’re walking distance from the weekend market (Saturday mornings are incredible for fresh fruit and local finds), but you’re also close enough to the business district that grabbing dinner in Greenbelt or checking out the nightlife in Poblacion doesn’t require a major expedition. I actually found myself walking to most places, which in Manila is saying something. The building itself feels secure without being overly formal – the front desk staff were helpful but not hovering, and getting in and out with shopping bags or after a late night was never a hassle. There’s something refreshing about staying in a proper residential building rather than a traditional hotel; it gives you this sense of actually living in the city for a while rather than just passing through. Plus, the building has good elevator service, which might seem like a small thing until you’re on the seventh floor with groceries and tired feet.

  What could be improved: I think instructions on how to use shower (wasn’t working in one bathroom which host offered to fix but everything should have been working before our arrival), stove, tv ( Netflix wasn’t working) would have helped us. Some Guests are not familiar with propane with stove especially from US and it could have been a safety issue.

  Property location was amazing as it’s within walking distance to Greenbelt, Ayala Triangle, and Poblacion. The condominium is very spacious and very well maintained for an older unit. The gym facilities and good restaurants in the area are also a definite plus. Host was accommodating and answered questions honestly.
  
  What could be improved: What I didn’t like were just minor things such as an exhaust fan that wasn’t working in the main bathroom. It was an inconvenience especially with toilet smells. It took us a while to figure out the shower with the owners assistance. There was also early morning construction noise. Then again, that’s part of city life in Makati area. There weren’t deal breakers.

  Wonderful location if you want access to the city life. Malls, restaurants and other areas of city can be within reach despite the traffic. The condo itself is spacious, clean and complete with house items to make your stay comfortable. The host is always available should you have any questions or concern.
  
  What could be improved: It can be a little noisy in the very early mornings due the office time traffic. A little disappointed that we were not allowed to have any visitors in the unit.

  Location was well reached to malls, restaurants, banks, etc. If we had stayed around the malls, we would be affected by the rush hour traffic. At night surrounding area was quiet and it was nice to sit out on the balcony. The washing machine was a big bonus.

  We checked inn after 10pm and the apartment key was at the reception waiting for us which was a super relief after a 5hrs flight. The host is always ready to respond to queries any time of the day and night. The location is perfect and the rooms are clean. Highly recommend. Definitely staying there again.
  
  What could be improved: Extra toiletries. But otherwise the drug shop is located just outside the apartment so easy to grab some.
