Coronado Street itself is relatively quiet – I mean, it’s still Manila, so there’s always some urban buzz, but you’re not dealing with the constant honking and traffic that can drive you crazy in other parts of the city. What I really appreciated was having actual kitchen facilities in the unit, which meant I could grab fresh ingredients from the local markets nearby instead of relying on room service every meal. The building’s amenities are solid without being over-the-top – there’s a decent pool area where you can actually relax without feeling like you’re on display, and the security setup gives you that peace of mind you need when you’re exploring a new city.

Actually, staying here felt more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment than checking into a typical hotel, which I think is exactly what they’re going for with the private residences concept. The staff knows their stuff and they’re genuinely helpful without hovering, plus the whole check-in process was refreshingly straightforward – no weird upsells or confusing policies. If you’re the type of traveler who values space to spread out and the flexibility to come and go as you please, this place delivers on that front. Sure, it might not have the traditional hotel perks like daily housekeeping or a concierge desk, but honestly, that trade-off works in your favor when you get this level of comfort and design quality.   The apartment was exceptional in every aspect. The design was very appealing and everything was there for your convenience, including a very well specced kitchen,although we didn't cook much.
  It was quiet and peaceful, especially considering we're in a busy part of the city. It was close to the Power Plant mall, where there is a wide choice of restaurants and then reasonably close to the airport, about 25 minutes. We loved it there and we will stay again next time we're in Manila

  This place was nice!
  – Good Wi-Fi (enough for Zoom calls, as I had to work), as well as YouTube & Netflix on TV.
  – The kitchen has everything you need for cooking.
  – It's spacious and clean.
  – The area was a bit away from the city center, but if you take a taxi, it'll only take 5 minutes to get to the main area (Makati).
  – There are some cafes and markets (e.g., Lawson) inside the building.
  – The view was amazing!
  
  What could be improved: There were a few minor annoyances, but they didn't really affect my stay:
  – it would be great if the owners kept some kitchen essentials like salt, pepper, or oil for cooking, because you don't want to have to buy them for your one-week stay.
  – There's also a gym and swimming pool, which you have to book in advance to use. You can't just go whenever you want, so you have to plan the exact date & time ahead. It might be annoying, but that doesn't have anything to do with the apartment itself. 🙂

  The cooktop was difficult to use and the microwave was unusable because the breaker would trip every time it was turned on. This would turn off everything on the circuit.

  It was such a beautiful remodeled condo with an amazing view. Also in a great location very close to everything you need.
