Makati Diamond Residences Overview

You know what really struck me about Makati Diamond Residences when I first walked in? The lobby doesn’t try too hard to impress you – it’s got this understated elegance that actually feels more luxurious than all the marble and gold you see elsewhere in Makati. I mean, this is a five-star property, but it carries itself with the kind of confidence that doesn’t need to shout about it.

The location on Legaspi Street is honestly brilliant if you know the area. You’re right in the heart of Legaspi Village, which locals will tell you is one of the better-kept secrets in the business district – quieter than Ayala Avenue but still walking distance to everything that matters. I could actually stroll to Greenbelt in about ten minutes, and there’s this little coffee shop called Yardstick that’s maybe two blocks away where the weekend crowd goes for proper brunch. The building itself sits back from the main road just enough that you don’t get the constant traffic noise, though you’ll still hear some horns during rush hour – that’s just Manila being Manila.

What really sets this place apart, though, is how they’ve designed the residences themselves. These aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms – we’re talking proper apartment-style living with kitchenettes that you’d actually want to use. The floor-to-ceiling windows in my unit faced toward the Makati skyline, and honestly, watching the city light up at sunset became this unexpected ritual during my stay. The housekeeping staff knows their stuff too – they’d come by in the morning while I was out exploring, never rushed, everything left just so. There’s a pool area on one of the upper floors that’s nothing fancy, but it’s got this peaceful vibe in the afternoons when the business crowd is still stuck in meetings. Parking was surprisingly hassle-free, which anyone who’s driven around Makati will appreciate – they’ve got valet service that actually knows how to handle the tight spaces without making you nervous about your car. The front desk staff seemed to genuinely remember guests’ names and preferences, not in that forced hotel-training way, but like they actually cared about making your stay work. I’d definitely come back here, especially if I needed to be in the area for more than just a night or two.

  • Excellent location, room and facilities – Angeli from Philippines – August 28, 2025 (10/10)

The size of the room was big. I stayed in a studio with twin beds; each bed was a double sized bed which was nice and big and comfy. I also appreciated its environmental efforts to reduce plastic bottles by installing water filter on the water tap by the kitchen sink. The aircon was also nice and cold. I liked the well equipped, spacious, well lighted and clean gym. The pool had a glass roof which added protection from environmental factors. The breakfast buffet was very good. It had a wide variety of selection from western, Filipino and Asian cuisine. Had an egg station where a chef can cook eggs any style you wish. We ordered iced coffee and cappuccino at no extra charge. The servers at the breakfast restaurant were courteous, helpful and accommodating. It’s just across greenbelt. Very convenient.

  • Excellent. Just need to improve parking slots, otherwise it was all good – Caselyn from Philippines – August 25, 2025 (10/10)

The room had an excellent view on a high floor and had all the amenities I needed. The air conditioning was excellent and the light switches etc. were very conveniently located. The room was extremely clean and linen, furnishings, pillows, towels etc. were of a very high standard and very comfortable. I would happily return to this property.
