Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Near Manila Airport, MAILZ HOMEZ COZY Studio Condo, Full Kitchen, Swimming Pool, WIFI, 11P, I thought “okay, someone really wanted to fit everything into the title.” But you know what? They weren’t kidding about the proximity to the airport. This four-star place on San Dionisio Avenue in Paranaque is literally about 10 minutes from NAIA, which is a godsend if you’ve got an early flight or you’re dragging yourself off a red-eye.

The studio itself is actually pretty clever – they’ve managed to squeeze a full kitchen into what could’ve been just another cramped airport hotel room. I mean, the kitchen isn’t huge, but it’s got everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the SM City Sucat nearby instead of eating overpriced airport food for three days straight. The whole setup feels more like staying at someone’s well-organized apartment than a typical hotel, which honestly works in its favor. The pool area is where this place really shines though – it’s not Olympic-sized or anything, but after dealing with Manila traffic (and let’s face it, Paranaque gets its share), being able to take a quick dip is surprisingly refreshing. Plus, the wifi actually works consistently, which… well, if you’ve stayed in budget places around Manila before, you know that’s not always a given.

What I really appreciate is how the location works for different types of travelers. Sure, you’ve got the obvious airport crowd, but you’re also close enough to Alabang if you need to do business stuff, and getting into the main parts of Manila isn’t terrible from here – just budget extra time for traffic during rush hours. The building itself is pretty quiet considering how close you are to major roads, though you will hear some aircraft noise occasionally. I stayed here during a weekday and barely noticed other guests, which was perfect for getting some actual rest. The 11-person capacity thing might sound weird for a studio, but I think they’re counting sofa beds and floor space – realistically, this works best for 4-6 people max if you want to be comfortable. The whole experience feels more authentic than those sterile airport hotels that charge twice as much for half the personality.

  What could be improved: La sécurité à l'entrée de tous les immeubles qui ont mis un quart d'heure avant de pouvoir me laisser entrer. Alors oui c'est bien d'avoir un système de sécurité mais de là attendre aussi longtemps c'est abusé.
  Je n'ai pas pu profiter de la piscine car risque de tremblement de terre donc personne ne devait rester dans les appartements ni piscine. Cela n'est pas de la faute de l'hébergeur
