I got lucky with a bay view, and watching the sunset over Manila Bay from the balcony was honestly one of those moments that reminded me why I love this chaotic city. The pool area is decent sized for a residential building, though it can get busy in the evenings when residents are done with work. Netflix actually works (miracle in Manila sometimes), and the WiFi held up even during video calls, which is saying something. The room itself felt more like a serviced apartment than a traditional hotel room – there’s a kitchenette that’s actually useful, not just decorative. I ended up grabbing groceries from the SM nearby and cooking breakfast a couple times, which saved money and felt more authentic than room service. I had an issue with the aircon remote, and maintenance showed up within 20 minutes, which is pretty impressive for Manila timing.
