The soundproofing is better than expected, though you’ll still hear the occasional plane if you’re a light sleeper.

What really sold me on this four-star setup was the space – these aren’t cramped hotel rooms but actual villas with room to breathe. The one I stayed in had this nice living area where I could spread out my work stuff, and honestly, the kitchen came in handy for storing those pasalubong treats that would’ve melted in a regular hotel mini-fridge. The staff here gets it too – they know most guests are dealing with flight schedules, so they’re flexible about check-in times and will actually help coordinate your airport transfer timing. I’ve stayed at fancier places in Makati that couldn’t be bothered with that level of service. The whole complex has this resort-y vibe that makes you forget you’re basically in an airport hotel zone, and the pool area is surprisingly nice for an afternoon dip if you’ve got time to kill between connections. Sure, you’re not in the heart of Manila’s tourist action, but sometimes that’s exactly what you need – especially when you can get to BGC or Mall of Asia pretty easily from here when you do want to venture out.
