Posada De Michi – Acqua Private Residences Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Posada De Michi – Acqua Private Residences, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a place with such a long name. But after staying there right on the Makati-Mandaluyong Bridge, I get why they need all those words to describe it. This four-star property is basically like having your own apartment in one of Manila’s most connected spots, and I mean that in the best way possible.

The location is honestly brilliant if you know Manila at all. You’re literally perched between two major business districts, so whether you need to get to Makati’s Ayala Avenue for meetings or hop over to Ortigas in Mandaluyong for shopping, you’re maybe ten minutes away from either. What really struck me though was how quiet it stays despite being so central – the residences are set back enough that you don’t get the constant honking that drives you crazy in other parts of the city. The staff actually warned me that weekday mornings can get a bit hectic with the bridge traffic below, but honestly, it wasn’t nearly as bad as I expected, and by 10 AM things settle down completely.

The whole “private residences” thing isn’t just marketing speak – these feel like actual apartments that happen to have hotel services. My unit had a full kitchen that I actually used (rare for me when traveling), a living area where I could spread out my laptop without feeling cramped, and a bedroom that didn’t make me feel like I was sleeping in a closet. The balcony views depend on which direction you’re facing, but even the less spectacular ones give you a real sense of the city’s energy. You know what really impressed me? The little details they get right – decent water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually work, and WiFi that doesn’t cut out every time someone else logs on. Plus, there’s a small grocery store about a three-minute walk away, which saved me multiple times when I needed basics without dealing with a whole mall expedition. The building’s pool area becomes this surprisingly peaceful escape in the evenings, especially around sunset when the city lights start coming on. With a 9.1 rating from other guests, it’s clear I’m not the only one who appreciates how they’ve managed to create this calm residential vibe while keeping you connected to everything that makes Manila exciting.

Manila’s apartments offer modern accommodations with city views, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this culturally rich Philippine capital city.

  • Wonderful – Roman from Russia – January 17, 2023 (9/10)

This place is really cozy and great to stay at for a few days. Not too much space but it's very well organized. You got everything you need and even more – a comfy bed, a microwave, a variety of teas and a kettle, a small stove, a lot of cooking stuff etc. Utensils everywhere add some coziness also. The city view is impressive. The hosts respond to your messages quickly, are very helpful and nice to communicate with. Would love to book.this place again.

What could be improved: Wi-fi connection was not stable sometimes which was the main problem for me. Would like to have a bottle of drinking water on arrival. This place is pretty far from a bus/tram station as well.

  • Exceptional – Valerie from Philippines – November 28, 2022 (10/10)

Cleanliness – The unit is very nice and clean.
Responsiveness – The host does respond immediately for any questions and concerns.
View – I also like the view (overlooking Rockwell) from the balcony, especially at night.
Kitchen tools – Complete cooking tools, except knife and utensils (maybe this can be requested, not sure since I didn't try)

What could be improved: Internet Speed is a bit slow so it is best that you have a back-up data if you plan to work.

  • My stay was good and im planning to be back for a longer days ❤️ – Anonymous from Philippines – November 20, 2022 (10/10)

I loved it here. Minimal, comfortable, clean and refreshing. Wifi are working well, stove is too. There's nothing more i could ask for 🤍

    What could be improved: Nothing.

  • Exceptional – Susan from Ireland – November 11, 2022 (10/10)

    Near to all amenities

What could be improved: The security guards not allowed the services like tricycle to enter along the building, it's too far
