The location on Mercedez Avenue is pretty clever, actually. You’re in San Miguel area of Pasig, which means you get that residential neighborhood vibe without being completely cut off from everything. I mean, you’ve got Ortigas just a short ride away, but you can also walk to local eateries and convenience stores without dealing with the usual Metro Manila chaos. The Samaya Building itself feels solid – not brand new, but well-maintained in that way that makes you think the owners actually care about the place. Parking wasn’t a nightmare either, which honestly is half the battle in this part of the metro.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to nail that “home away from home” feeling without making it feel sterile. The units are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into furniture every time you turn around, and the kitchenette setup is actually functional – I’m talking real cookware, not just decorative pieces. The Wi-Fi works consistently (tested it during a few video calls), and the air conditioning keeps up with Manila’s heat without sounding like a jet engine. You know what I appreciated most? The little touches – decent water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and enough power outlets that you’re not playing musical chairs with your devices. It’s the kind of place where business travelers and families both seem comfortable, and that 9.5 rating starts making perfect sense once you’ve stayed a night or two. If you’re looking for something reliable in Pasig without the premium price tag of the big hotel chains, this spot deserves a serious look.

  Overall the place and my stay was great! This was my second time booking Tom’s place. Smooth self-checkin, unit was clean, provides you with all your basic necessities on your stay, near the supermarket, place was really quiet, car park is provided by request, fast internet – recommended for someone staying for work, very spacious, and very accommodating host!

  It’s comfortable, complete set of kitchenware. It’s a plus that they provide ice cubes in the ref 😁. Aside from that from handwash to soap to shampoo everything is provided. The bed was comfortable with additional pillow and comforter too. They even have complimentary juice and coffee packs. 🥰
