The soundproofing is actually decent too – something I always worry about in Manila properties. You know what really impressed me though? The staff genuinely seemed to care about getting the small stuff right. Check-in was smooth (they had my room ready even though I arrived early), and they remembered my coffee preference by day two without me having to ask twice.

The rooms themselves have this modern Filipino aesthetic that doesn’t try too hard – think clean lines with subtle nods to local materials, not the overdone bamboo-and-capiz-shell thing you see everywhere. The beds are properly comfortable, and I actually slept well, which is saying something because I’m usually a light sleeper. What struck me most was the attention to practical details that a lot of hotels miss. The shower pressure is excellent, there are enough outlets near the bed for your devices, and the air conditioning is quiet but effective. The view depends on which room you get – I was facing the city side and could see the Makati skyline in the distance, which was pretty nice for morning coffee. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around Metro Manila will appreciate. Is it perfect? Well, the elevator can be slow during peak hours, and the pool area, while nice, gets pretty busy on weekends with locals doing the staycation thing. But honestly, for what you’re paying and the level of service you get, those are minor quibbles. This place has that rare quality of feeling both polished and genuine – like they’re actually trying to create a good experience rather than just checking boxes.
