What really impressed me was the attention to detail – proper blackout curtains, decent water pressure in the shower, and thank god, reliable air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a construction site.

Now, about that location – Poblacion is where Makati really comes alive at night. You’re literally walking distance from some of the city’s best bars and restaurants, which is fantastic if you’re into the nightlife scene. I loved being able to stumble back after trying out places like Alamat or The Curator, but fair warning – weekends can get pretty lively until the early hours. The area has this great mix of old-school Filipino charm and modern urban energy that you don’t find everywhere in the metro. During the day, it’s surprisingly quiet and you can actually explore the neighborhood’s street art and local eateries without the crowds. Getting around is easy too – there are plenty of grab pickup points, and you’re close enough to the Makati business district that even rush hour isn’t too painful. The building itself feels secure and well-maintained, and the staff I dealt with during check-in were genuinely helpful, not just going through the motions. For the price point and that 8.8 rating it’s earned, I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially if I wanted to experience Makati’s creative side without sacrificing comfort.

  The interior was nice and comfy, with well-located building that is close to a shopping mall. Mr. Noel was very friendly and responsive when I inquired about my arrival and access to the room. As I was arriving late at night in Manila, I was concerned with the check-in process but he made sure the key and access card would be ready for me to pick up at the building front upon my arrival. Overall, I recommend this place and I would definitely book again.
  
  What could be improved: The bed feels a bit hard and could use a mattress topper but that didn't stop me from having a good night's sleep.

  Noel was very responsive to my pre-booking queries, always replying very quickly. He was also very good abut checking in with my during my stay to make sure everything was OK. The unit was clean and well-maintained, with everything that I needed in the kitchen for simple meal preparation.
  
  What could be improved: The hot water in the shower was a little temperamental, often running-out mid-way through a normal-length shower, but it wasn't too much of a problem. The manual bidet hose also completely lacked water-pressure, which made it unusable. The mattress on the bed is very firm, which was a bit uncomfortable for me, but of course that is just a matter of preference, and would no doubt suit others.
