I mean, the fridge was actually big enough to store groceries, and the stovetop worked perfectly when I decided to cook some fresh seafood I’d picked up from nearby Pasay markets. The living area gives you space to actually spread out – something you don’t always get even in four-star places. From my window, I could see straight across to Manila Bay, and you know what? The sunsets here are genuinely spectacular, especially if you time it right around 6 PM.

The location is pretty smart too – you’re close enough to Mall of Asia that it’s an easy walk (maybe 10 minutes), but far enough that you don’t get the crazy weekend crowds and traffic noise. I found myself using the pool area more than I expected, particularly in the early mornings when it’s quiet and you can actually hear the waves from the bay. The staff remembers your name after a day or two, which sounds small but makes a difference when you’re staying for more than just a weekend. Parking was never an issue, though I’d recommend getting specific directions beforehand since the entrance isn’t super obvious from the main road. One thing to note – the elevators can be a bit slow during peak hours, but honestly, that’s pretty standard for residential-style buildings in this area. The WiFi actually works well throughout the suite, which was crucial for me since I ended up working from the dining table most mornings. If you’re looking for that resort-style experience with daily activities and poolside service, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want a proper home base in Manila with actual space to breathe and cook your own meals when the mood strikes, Shore Residences delivers on that promise without the inflated prices you’d pay closer to Makati or BGC.
