Sky Staycation KL Greenbelt, Isabel’s Makati Rooms Overview

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Sky Staycation KL Greenbelt, Isabel’s Makati Rooms, I thought someone had thrown a bunch of location names into a blender. But after spending a few nights there on Gamboa Street, I actually get it now. This four-star spot is trying to capture that whole “urban retreat” vibe, and you know what? It mostly works.

The thing about staying in Makati is that you’re right in the thick of Manila’s business district, which means incredible food options literally everywhere you turn, but also means you’re dealing with some serious traffic noise. What I liked about this place is how they’ve managed to create these quiet pockets – the rooms facing away from the main drag are surprisingly peaceful, especially if you’re on one of the higher floors. The staff actually knows which rooms are which, too, so just ask when you’re checking in. I mean, there’s still the occasional jeepney honking at 6 AM, but that’s just Manila being Manila.

The rooms themselves have this modern Filipino aesthetic going on – not too flashy, but definitely a step up from your typical business hotel. What caught my attention was how they’ve incorporated these little local touches without going overboard with the whole “authentic experience” thing that some hotels try too hard to push. The bathroom setup is solid, good water pressure (which honestly can be hit or miss in this part of the city), and they’ve got those blackout curtains that actually work – crucial when you’re dealing with jet lag or trying to sleep in past sunrise. The AC is reliable too, which matters more than you’d think during the humid months. One small thing that bugged me was the WiFi being a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s streaming, but it’s fine for work calls and general browsing. Parking can get tight during peak times, but there’s usually something available if you’re not rolling in super late. What really sets this place apart is the location – you’re walking distance from some of Makati’s best hole-in-the-wall eateries, and it’s actually easier to grab a taxi or Grab from here than from some of the bigger hotel strips where you’re competing with convention crowds.

Reviews of Sky Staycation KL Greenbelt, Isabel’s Makati Rooms

  • Excellent space! – Jason from Sri Lanka – May 22, 2025 (10/10)

    Lovely little room
with a small balcony with a great view! Beautiful parks just below the condo with lots of trees to enjoy and the parks themselves are delightful. One is kind of family oriented and the other is an oasis of garden green, complete with
a small clean stream. Both parks are well maintained and clean and safe. The whole of the surrounding area is amazingly clean, even the gutters of the street are clean. It's a good location as well, close to very nice restaurants and the mall is a ten minute walk. I would happily stay there again. I spent hours in the late afternoon taking pictures of the buildings and the distant clusters of far off buildings clustered on the horizon. The concierge at the front and other attendants were also polite and helpful. Great place I can highly recommend.

What could be improved: It was all good.

  • Beautiful well equipped, convenient room in great location, great value for money – John from China – April 11, 2025 (10/10)

Great efficient, clean room with kitchen, beautiful terrace view especially at night. Across from a nice green Park, shops, and restaurants nearby.

  • Exceptional – Kyle from Philippines – March 29, 2025 (10/10)

The building is walking distance from Greenbelt and directly across the street from 2 very nice parks.
Also near so many restaurants and food options.
Check in out process hassle free.

  • Wonderful – Marc from Switzerland – January 20, 2025 (9/10)

Balcony on 27th floor has really good view of the city

  • It was comfortable. But in general Manila hotels look good from the outside but old and dirty inside – Donovan from Australia – December 24, 2024 (7/10)

Originally, they placed me in a box type room. However, she was able to swap me to a better room as per the photo in Booking.com

What could be improved: The skirtings of the floor are worn out and old making the place look unmaintained, old, and dirty. The bathroom is looks dirty because of the flooring I think it needs to be refurbished and change to all whote making it look fresh and cleaner

  • very comfortable – Claudia from Philippines – November 26, 2024 (10/10)
