What I really appreciated was how the place strikes this balance between hotel service and apartment living. The unit I stayed in (1949, if you’re curious) had this full kitchen setup that actually worked – not one of those sad kitchenettes with a broken microwave. The air conditioning runs quietly, which trust me, matters when you’re trying to sleep and the city’s humming outside your window. The internet’s solid too, something you can’t always count on even in decent Manila accommodations. I spent a few evenings just hanging out on the balcony with some San Miguel, watching the traffic weave through Meralco Ave below – it’s oddly relaxing once you accept that Manila traffic is basically performance art.

Location-wise, you’re in this sweet spot where you can walk to decent restaurants without dealing with the absolute chaos of, say, Makati or BGC. There’s a 7-Eleven practically downstairs, and if you need to grab something more substantial, the Tiendesitas market is close enough that you’ll actually use it. The building’s security is thorough without being annoying – they’ll check your ID the first time but after that, they just nod you through. Parking can get tight during weekday rush hours, but weekends are pretty manageable. One small thing that bugged me initially – the elevators can be slow when everyone’s coming home from work, but honestly, that’s true for half the residential buildings in Manila. Overall, it’s one of those places where you settle in after the first night and start thinking, yeah, I could actually live here for a while.
