The hotel itself is tucked into Tower 2 of the Manhattan Parkway Residences, which took me a minute to find the first time because the signage could be clearer, but the lobby staff are actually pretty helpful once you get there. I noticed they’ve gotten used to confused guests wandering around – happens more than you’d think in these mixed-use buildings.

What surprised me most was how quiet the rooms actually are, considering you’re smack in the middle of one of the busiest districts in the city. I was expecting typical Cubao chaos bleeding through the walls, but the soundproofing is decent – though if you’re a super light sleeper, maybe pack earplugs for the occasional jeepney convoy at dawn. The rooms have this modern minimalist thing going on that works well enough, and the beds are comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses, so that’s saying something). The WiFi actually works reliably, which honestly can’t be said for every place in this price range around here. One small thing that bugged me – the elevator can be painfully slow during peak hours when the residential folks are coming and going, but that’s more of a building issue than a hotel problem. Still, for the location and what you’re paying, especially with how easy it is to grab late-night food or catch a taxi, it’s a solid choice if you want to be right in the action without completely breaking the bank.

  Sa lahat ng napag stayan ko dito ako na amaze. Napakagandang place when you want to stay in cubao super near sa araneta. Malapit din sa mga mall and Mrt. Safe ang place, malinis. Complete amenities, may towel. A week before nag send si Sir Derek ng complete detailed instructions on how to get there and how to access the facilities. Super accommodating din si Sir.
