You know what caught me off guard about The Beacon Condo – Studio Tower 1? It’s actually tucked away on Chino Roces Avenue in a way that feels both connected to everything but surprisingly quiet for Makati. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of the business district, but once you’re inside this four-star setup, the city buzz fades to this manageable hum.

The studio layout is honestly pretty clever – they’ve managed to fit everything you need without making it feel cramped, which is no small feat in Manila real estate. What I really appreciated was how the kitchen area doesn’t feel like an afterthought, you know? There’s actual counter space to work with, and the appliances are decent quality, not the bare-minimum stuff you sometimes get in condo hotels. The air conditioning works like a dream too, which – let’s be honest – is absolutely crucial when you’re dealing with Manila’s humidity. I stayed during one of those particularly sticky weeks in March, and the unit kept things comfortable without sounding like a jet engine.

The building itself has this solid, well-maintained feel that you don’t always find in newer developments. Security’s pretty tight without being overbearing, and the elevators are fast enough that you’re not standing around forever – small things that matter when you’re coming and going regularly. Parking was straightforward, which anyone who’s dealt with Makati traffic will tell you is worth its weight in gold. What really sold me on the location, though, was how walkable everything is once you get oriented. You’ve got solid dining options within a few blocks, and if you need to get to Ayala or BGC, you’re not looking at some epic commute. The MRT isn’t too far either, though honestly, with grab cars being so reliable in this area, I found myself relying on that more often. The only minor thing – and this might just be the unit I had – was that the WiFi could be a bit spotty during peak hours, but it was fine for basic work stuff and streaming. Overall, it’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard to impress you, which I actually found pretty refreshing after staying in some of the flashier spots around the city.

  The apartment is as advertised, although a bit smaller than what it seems in the pictures. Great view of the city from the window.

  keyless entry. place is quite small but the room rate is not expensive so it's fine. floor is chipped but it's fine. sheets and towels are clean and fresh. lots of convenience store, restaurants, pharmacies around; walmart is also just a few steps away.
  
  What could be improved: quite difficult to get a hold of the numbers given (assistant) they answered after many calls.

  The property is quite dated and in a busy area of Makati area. Public transport is not a problem nor finding places to eat and buy necessities. The room was clean and cozy , few tiny cockroaches which I’ve also encountered which could be common problems in these types of facilities ( buildings).
  There were coffee and tea drinks which were available and they didn’t skimped on this either it was enough for the days were there ( other places has little to none). The property manager communicated well with us and made sure we were comfortable.

  If you're looking for value for money in a great location, you can't go wrong here.
  Solo traveller just off an 18 hour flight and needed a base for a couple of days before heading off to the islands.
  Grab Taxi from the airport to the door 270 pesos. Cafe with free wifi next door.
  39th floor with amazing views of Manila and in a great part of the City with easy access everywhere.
  
  What could be improved: For the price you're not going to get 5 Star luxury with exceptional finishing touches.
  It was clean, had a fridge, microwave and rice cooker.
  A gym and outdoor pool on the 6th floor and the roof terrace and views more than make up for that.

  The location is very convenient, and the condo has everything we need. It looks fantastic in person, offering a beautiful view of the city lights. The bed is comfortable, and complimentary water bottles and instant coffee were provided.
  
  What could be improved: The shower holder is broken, and we cant access the Netflix on the third day of our stay.
