The apartment itself is on the 12th floor of Coast Residences, and you know what? The elevator ride up gives you this gradual reveal of Manila Bay that honestly made me pause the first time. The two-bedroom setup is more spacious than most hotel rooms you’ll find in this part of Metro Manila – I’m talking actual living room space where you can spread out, not just squeeze between a bed and a tiny desk. The kitchen caught me off guard too; it’s fully functional, which means you can actually cook if you want to skip the restaurant scene for a night (though honestly, with all the food options nearby, why would you?). The air conditioning works well – and trust me, you’ll appreciate that during the humid months. I noticed the place stays pretty quiet despite being so central, probably because you’re high enough up to escape most of the street noise.

Location-wise, this is where things get interesting. Star City is literally right there, so if you’re traveling with kids or just feeling nostalgic about amusement parks, you’re set. The World Trade Center is a quick walk if you’re here on business, and the whole Bay Area strip is accessible without dealing with Manila’s legendary traffic – well, at least not as much of it. I found myself walking to the SM Mall of Asia more than once, partly because it’s doable on foot and partly because the waterfront route is actually pleasant in the early morning or evening. The building has decent security, and parking is available, though like everywhere in this city, you’ll want to arrive early if you’re driving. What really sold me on this place was the practical stuff – reliable WiFi (crucial if you’re working), hot water that actually stays hot, and a responsive property management team. It’s not the fanciest place in Manila, but it delivers on the basics while putting you right where things are happening.

  The location was great not too far from (Mall of Asia) MOA and other tourist destinations! The front-end staff members were friendly and pleasant!
  
  What could be improved: The facilities left a lot be desired, washing and drying clothes was challenging. The supposed washer dryer in the condo was not great for the following reasons.
  1. it washed terribly (clothes were not cleaned!)
  2. it failed to dry (just kept on using spinning cycles)
  
  In a nutshell we ended up having to hand wash clothes and dry them in the condo; not ideal if the truth be known
  
  The balcony was pretty much out of use since there was the aircon unit restricting full access, so we had partial use of the balcony which is so disappointing because one of the reasons I initially chose this location was because of the view offered from the balcony.
