The Linden Suites Overview

You know what caught me off guard about The Linden Suites? It’s tucked right into the heart of Ortigas Center, but somehow they’ve managed to create this bubble of calm that feels miles away from all the corporate hustle. I mean, you step out the front door on San Miguel Avenue and you’re literally surrounded by glass towers and business hotels, but inside – it’s got this boutique feel that most four-star places in the area just don’t pull off.

The suites themselves are honestly bigger than I expected, which is saying something for Manila where space comes at a premium. What I really appreciated was the kitchenette setup – not just some mini-fridge situation, but actual counter space where you can spread out if you’re staying for more than a couple nights. The living areas have this warm, residential vibe with earth tones and Filipino touches that don’t feel forced or touristy. Actually, the whole place has this lived-in quality that makes it feel more like a well-appointed apartment building than a typical hotel. The staff seems to know this too – they’re not doing that overly formal hotel dance, just genuinely helpful without being intrusive.

Location-wise, you’re basically in the sweet spot of Ortigas. The Podium is a quick walk if you need shopping or decent restaurants, and you’ve got easy access to both EDSA and C5 without being right on top of the traffic chaos. I stayed during the week and barely heard any street noise, though I imagine weekends might be different with all the office workers flooding the malls. The rooftop pool area is small but gets good afternoon sun, and honestly, after dealing with Manila’s intensity all day, having that quiet space to decompress was worth more than any fancy amenities. Just don’t expect resort-level pool service – it’s more of a nice bonus than the main attraction. What really sold me was how the place felt after a few days – comfortable in that way where you’re not constantly aware you’re in a hotel room.

  • Great rooms, excellent location close to airport and SM mega mall, rooms need to be updated, cafe is over priced with po – Fatima from Philippines – January 4, 2025 (8/10)

The premium family rooms were spacious with two bedrooms and was very comfortable. It also had a kitchen with a microwave and coffee maker. The location was also very good.

What could be improved: The tiny details such as the molding around the bathroom door needed to be repaired. The cafe was expensive and it was not very good with either service or food. They had served raw potatoes

  • Excellent, good value for money. – Alisa from Philippines – December 16, 2024 (9/10)

The Linden Suites meet all expectations. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious. We were in a 2BR suite and came with a kitchnette, dining table and living room.

What could be improved: Parking can be a challenge – the way down is steep and narrower than expected, but manageable.

  • Wonderful – Hannah from Philippines – December 9, 2024 (9/10)

The people. They are very nice.

What could be improved: When I called the front desk, nobody answered.

  • Great budget stay – Cheff from Philippines – December 9, 2024 (9/10)

The space was great, the beds comfortable.

What could be improved: The rooms were a bit old and outdated and need some maintenance, but not much of a deal breaker.

  • Very Good – Charlrene from Philippines – September 9, 2024 (8/10)

Room was bigger than I expected. Beds are comfy and smell clean.
Food was okay, staff are great!

What could be improved: I booked for three, but there were only 2 robes and 2 pairs of slippers.
Toiletries weren’t enough for 3 too. I’m sure that if I called it down, they will give us extra.
