The lobby has this airy, residential feel rather than that generic hotel vibe you get everywhere else. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets once you’re inside – you’re still close enough to everything that matters (the airport’s literally minutes away, which saved my life during a tight connection), but you don’t get that constant urban buzz that usually keeps you up at night in Manila hotels. The soundproofing is actually decent, something I definitely didn’t take for granted after staying in places where you hear every conversation in the hallway.

The rooms themselves have character – not in that “we’re trying too hard to be boutique” way, but more like someone actually thought about how people live when they travel. Good lighting for working late, proper outlets where you need them, and honestly, the beds are surprisingly comfortable. I’ve stayed in places that cost twice as much with mattresses that felt like concrete slabs. The bathrooms are well-designed too, with decent water pressure (always a gamble in this part of the city) and storage that makes sense. What really sold me was the little details – they stock local coffee that’s actually good, not just the standard instant stuff, and the housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work. You can tell by how crisp everything looks without feeling sterile. The staff genuinely seems to know the area well, too. When I asked about getting to Makati during rush hour, the front desk guy didn’t just point me to a taxi – he actually explained the timing and suggested an alternative route that probably saved me an hour of sitting in traffic. That kind of local insight is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to navigate Manila’s transportation maze.

  Very close to MOA, restaurants and pretty much the places where we are planning to go. Close to the airport as well. The place is very clean and the host is very accommodating. It helped that there's a convenience store downstairs as it made it easy to buy stuff for cooking when we don't feel like eating out. There wasn't a problem with communication and I will surely book this place again if I need to come back to Manila.
  
  What could be improved: Not against the host but probably the juristic office having to require payments for the pool. It felt weird as it is not the case in other countries.
