The Residences at BCCT Overview
You know what caught me off guard about The Residences at BCCT? Walking into what you’d expect to be another five-star hotel tower in Taguig, but realizing it’s actually more like having your own apartment in one of Manila’s most interesting neighborhoods. I mean, McKinley Parkway isn’t exactly where most tourists end up, but that’s honestly part of what makes this place work so well.
The whole setup here is refreshingly different from your typical hotel experience. Instead of cramped rooms, you’re getting actual residences with full kitchens, separate living areas, and – this is huge in Manila – genuinely quiet spaces where you can actually think. The building itself sits in this sort of sweet spot where you’re close enough to BGC’s business district that you can walk to decent restaurants and coffee shops, but far enough from the main drag that you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise. I’ve stayed in places right in the heart of BGC where the construction and honking never stops, so this was actually a relief. The staff runs things more like a residential building than a hotel, which means less hovering and more of that “make yourself at home” vibe that’s surprisingly rare in Manila.
What really sells me on this place is how it handles the practical stuff that makes or breaks a longer stay. The kitchens aren’t just for show – they’re actually equipped well enough that you can cook real meals, which is a game-changer when you’re tired of restaurant food or dealing with Manila’s unpredictable delivery times. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently (not always a given, even in nice Manila hotels), and there’s decent workspace if you need to get things done. Parking isn’t the usual nightmare, though I’d still recommend grabbing a spot early if you’re driving. The whole area has this residential feel during the day that shifts into something a bit livelier in the evenings, especially on weekends when locals come around for the nearby restaurants and bars. Honestly, the 7.3 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in the city, but it does what it does really well. If you’re the type who values space and quiet over being in the absolute center of everything, or if you’re staying more than just a couple nights, this place gets it right in ways that a lot of fancier hotels miss.

Reviews of The Residences at BCCT
Pleasant – Robbie from United Kingdom – August 13, 2025 (6/10)
Did not have
What could be improved: Some cooking facilities in kitchenetteIt’s a set of private condos, not a hotel. A weird mix bag of customer service ranging from excellent to poor – Andrew from United Kingdom – July 31, 2025 (6/10)
The security staff on the door were exceptional. They arranged taxis to the airport, were polite and kind, and the best staff there.
The bed is comfortable and the apartment/condo is nice overall. Soft towels, comfy bed and shampoo/shower gel supplied. The room is good overall.
The bar is excellent, it’s independent from the rest of the place. Its views are lovely and the staff are great. Lovely atmosphere.
What could be improved: The receptionist staff are ineffective beyond their role of giving you a key and vouchers. They cannot/will not arrange anything such as a shuttle to the airport (though will do luggage storage?!) and they gave wrong information upon check in (when asking whether I could smoke upstairs on the open terrace, I was told no, I would have to go 26 floors downstairs – only to find out that the bar on the top – the 26th floor – has a smoking area and they handout ashtrays when they are open. This was great news, but the reception staff should know this?)
The 2000 pesos room deposit came as a shock, but we understood and paid it.
There are odd ‘unwritten’ rules from staff- like I was stopped in my tracks by a staff member (a young woman from the coffee shop shouted ‘hey sir!’ as if to stop me) when I simply walked past the public coffee shop area to the right, as I simply wanted to look at the view from the walkway near the coffee shop. No signs say you cannot walk this way and it’s an open public walkway.
No way to tell housekeeping you want the condo cleaned? I couldn’t find a sign anywhere.
Other reviews mention this already but you’ll be given a hot plate and cooking facilities, but no pans. This is because these are essentially private condos hired out to look like a hotel (a local friend told me this).
All in all, an odd place which lacks consistency to an outsider coming to stay.Perfect room, next to SM Aura. Rest of facilities -> dont use – Gijsbertus from Netherlands – June 25, 2025 (7/10)
Room was very nice, spacious and clean.
What could be improved: The gym was moldy, hot and not worth using. Breakfast was not great, only the egg was nice but the bread was very bad, not baked long enough.Otherwise it was a enjoyable stay like I said before no TV condition didn’t work properly to bedroom one – Graham from Australia – May 7, 2025 (8/10)
Pool, bar
What could be improved: TV did not work at all and the A/C in the bedroom 1 did not get coldextremely comfortable – Aly from Philippines – April 3, 2025 (7/10)
location, friendly staff
Very Good – Matthew from Australia – October 2, 2024 (8/10)
facilities were great.
doormen very helpful and welcoming.
What could be improved: supplied washing machine but had to go buy washing powder.
menu at rooftop restaurant had about half of the menue items as unavailable.Perfect location! Clean and comfortable – Bertil from Norway – February 14, 2024 (8/10)
Perfect location! Clean and comfortable rooms. Spacious rooms!
What could be improved: Too much waiting to get the breakfast… They should hire more people in the kitchen. The TV box didnt work properly…Good place to stay but be prepared for drinking water shortage – Abhishek from India – April 9, 2023 (8/10)
The place has an amazing roof top bar and the staff there are super friendly. A shoutout to one of the bartender "Peter", he became my friend on the first day and he suggested me so many amazing drinks. I used to visit almost daily to the bar and ask him to serve me something new and he never failed to impress.
There is also a mall just opposite to the place, super convenient to get anything and everything you need. If its late hours, then you have 7 eleven at the facility to quench your midnight cravings.
What could be improved: Hugely disappointed with house keeping. Even after repeated reminders at front desk, they forget to clean the room, refill water bottle etc. Imagine returning at 11pm from work just to find out your room was not cleared and on top of that you dont even have drinking water.Very Good – Povilas from Lithuania – February 17, 2023 (8/10)
We traveled Philippines for 1 month and visited Coron, El Nido, Balabca, Cebu, Siquijor, Siargao, and Manila. We were very happy with the location of this hotel as there were a lot of shops, restaurants reach by walking distance.
What could be improved: I was scared of cockroaches as there were many reviews, but actually, I didn't notice one. The price is obviously too high as you just get a simple double room.Good – Rene from Philippines – February 15, 2023 (7/10)
The view at the penthouse
What could be improved: In room 2206, the aircon leaks.
The price is too much as we only need the room to sleep with only plated breakfast
There are no sleepers
No extra pillows
No iron
No water for the stay.
No hair blower
The tv operation is hard.
