The Tribute Hotel Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to The Tribute Hotel on Scout Gandia, I wasn’t expecting much. The street itself is pretty typical for Quezon City, you know, a mix of residential and commercial that doesn’t scream luxury. But stepping inside? Completely different story. This four-star place actually surprised me in the best way possible.
The lobby has this really clean, modern vibe without being cold or intimidating – something a lot of Manila hotels struggle with, honestly. What I really appreciated was how quiet it felt once you’re inside, which is saying something considering you’re right in the middle of QC’s buzz. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions. They actually knew the area well enough to give me solid recommendations for late-night eats (crucial when you’re dealing with jet lag). The rooms themselves are well-designed – I mean, they’re not huge, but everything feels intentional. The bed was actually comfortable, which isn’t always a given, and the bathroom had decent water pressure. Little things like that matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a night.
Location-wise, Scout Gandia puts you in a sweet spot that locals appreciate but tourists often overlook. You’re close enough to the main Quezon City action – Tomas Morato’s restaurant scene is maybe ten minutes away – but far enough from the really hectic areas that you can actually sleep at night. There’s a 7-Eleven practically next door, which became my best friend for quick snacks and essentials. The hotel doesn’t have a huge restaurant operation, but honestly, that works in your favor because the neighborhood has some fantastic hole-in-the-wall places within walking distance. I found this amazing sisig spot two blocks over that I probably would’ve missed if I’d been stuck in a resort bubble. Parking can be a bit tight during peak hours, but the hotel staff will work with you on it. The whole experience felt refreshingly straightforward – no hidden fees, no overselling amenities you don’t need. It’s the kind of place that does what it promises well, without trying to be something it’s not. For the price point and that 8.5 rating it’s earned, The Tribute delivers exactly what you want from a solid city hotel in Manila.

Reviews of The Tribute Hotel
Very Good – Hector from Philippines – June 14, 2025 (8/10)
Excellent location. The hotel had a good selection of food in their breakfast buffet and car parking was convenient. The room was big, airconditioner worked, wifi was good and amenities such as refrigerator, hairdryer, bathtub, etc was provided. Good value indeed
What could be improved: The water pressure to our room was very weak. So weak, we had to get water from the sink so it can fill up our bathtub. The water heater also didn't work well (maybe due to the weak water pressure?). Hopefully, this will be fixedI had good time staying at this hotel . Good location – Angelito from United States – June 8, 2025 (8/10)
Very clean and affordable. Front desks are friendly .

The unit is spacious, has beautiful interior and complete amenities. The beds are comfortable. It also has a balcony which is a bonus. The bathroom is great too, it has bathtub which is a plus point. The hotel has pool and gym facilities. Don’t hesitate to avail their breakfast buffet, they have great options. They also have good customer service.

Good hotel for their soft opening – Dianne from Australia – March 1, 2025 (8/10)
Staff were accomodating and courteous.
Location is superb.
Room is big.
What could be improved: Hotel is still on their soft opening so they have still alot to furnish such as :
-Only 1x lift is functioning
– still smells new paint across the hotel
– bfast buffet needs more equiptment to keep food warm
– needs to tighten up security
– needs to apply noise policy: we can hear other room's partying till midnight.Exceptional – Kristina from Philippines – February 16, 2025 (10/10)

What could be improved: There's no hot water yet and hopefully the front desk will do training for the girls to be more accommodating in the restaurant..let them feel that they are happy to have you them for breakfast in your restaurant….
