I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Uptown Parksuites BGC, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a serviced apartment setup in the middle of all that Bonifacio Global City chaos. But you know what? This place actually gets it right in ways that surprised me.

The location on 8th Avenue puts you right in the thick of BGC’s business district, which sounds intimidating but is actually pretty brilliant. I mean, you’re walking distance from all the major office towers if you’re here for work, but more importantly for most travelers, you’re also super close to the good stuff – High Street’s restaurants are maybe a five-minute walk, and getting to places like Market Market or even Venice Grand Canal Mall is just a quick ride away. The area gets busy during weekday rush hours (honestly, what part of Manila doesn’t?), but evenings and weekends have this surprisingly chill vibe where you can actually walk around comfortably. The building itself has that polished four-star look without being stuffy – clean lines, decent lobby that doesn’t try too hard to impress, and the kind of modern fixtures that actually work properly.

What I really appreciated were the little details that show someone thought about how people actually live when they’re staying somewhere for more than just a night or two. The units have proper kitchenettes with full-size fridges (not those tiny hotel bar fridges that can barely fit a sandwich), and the Wi-Fi is genuinely fast – I was pulling work calls without those awkward connection drops. The housekeeping staff know what they’re doing, and honestly, they’re some of the friendliest people you’ll meet without being overly chatty when you’re clearly rushing out the door with coffee in hand. Parking can get tight during peak business hours since you’re sharing the area with office workers, but there’s usually space if you’re flexible about timing. The pool area up top gives you decent city views, though it’s not huge – more of a place to cool off than do serious swimming laps. One thing that caught me off guard was how quiet it stays inside despite being surrounded by all the BGC development – whatever they did with the windows and walls works. The elevators are reasonably quick too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re running late for meetings or dinner reservations. Air conditioning is solid and consistent, which anyone who’s spent time in Manila’s heat will tell you is non-negotiable. If you’re the type who likes exploring neighborhoods on foot, BGC is actually one of the few areas in Metro Manila where that makes sense, and this spot puts you right in position to make the most of it.

  The location was perfect. The flat was what I expected. Beautiful view of the city.
  
  What could be improved: My flight was at the end of the day. The hotel didn't accept to keep my suitcase for some hours (after the check out) or didn't offer a solution. I found another hotel who accepted it.
  I also asked if they could call a taxi but I was redirected to use the Grab app instead. Aparently the reception can't call a taxi for guests users. Nothing related with the flat
