XnY@SMDCTreesResidences1BedT1 Fairview Quezon City Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name XnY@SMDCTreesResidences1BedT1 Fairview Quezon City, I thought someone had a field day with their keyboard. But you know what? Don’t let the quirky name fool you, because this four-star spot in Quezon City is actually a solid find, especially if you want something that feels more like a temporary home than just another hotel room.
The thing about SMDC Trees Residences is that it’s part of this whole residential development, so you’re not dealing with the typical hotel hustle and bustle. I mean, you’re on the 6th floor of Tower 1, and honestly, the views aren’t too shabby – you can see a decent chunk of the Fairview area spreading out below. The one-bedroom setup is surprisingly spacious for Metro Manila standards, and they’ve got this little kitchenette that actually works if you’re the type who gets tired of eating out every single meal. The bed’s comfortable enough, though I’d say the air conditioning is the real hero here (trust me, you’ll appreciate that during the hot season).
What I really liked about staying here is how it sits in this sweet spot where you’re close enough to everything but not right in the chaos of the main business districts. Commonwealth Avenue is just a stone’s throw away, which means you’ve got jeepneys and buses running pretty regularly if you need to get to other parts of Metro Manila. There’s this SM Fairview nearby – probably a 10-minute ride – where you can grab groceries or just escape into some serious air conditioning and food court action. The neighborhood itself has that lived-in feel where actual families are going about their daily business, so mornings are filled with the sounds of kids getting ready for school and motorbikes puttering around. It’s authentic Manila life without feeling overwhelming. The building’s security is pretty tight too, which gave me peace of mind, especially coming back late after exploring the night markets in nearby areas. Sure, the lobby isn’t going to win any design awards, and sometimes the elevators take their sweet time, but for the price point and the space you’re getting, it’s honestly a pretty decent deal if you want to experience Quezon City like someone who actually lives there rather than just passing through.
