You know what caught me off guard about Avant Apartments at The Fort? Walking into what’s essentially a five-star apartment setup right in the heart of BGC – it honestly feels more like staying at a friend’s really nice place than checking into a hotel. I mean, when you’re right there on 26th Street corner 3rd Avenue, you’re basically in the sweet spot of Bonifacio Global City where everything actually makes sense.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious – and I say surprising because, well, most places in Manila tend to pack you in pretty tight. But here you’ve got proper living rooms with couches you’d actually want to sit on, kitchens that aren’t just for show (though honestly, with all the food options around The Fort, you might not cook much), and bedrooms that don’t feel like afterthoughts. The floor-to-ceiling windows are really what sell it though – especially if you snag one of the higher floors. You get this great view over BGC that sort of reminds you why this whole area became such a big deal in the first place.

What I really appreciate is how they’ve thought about the little things. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently (crucial if you’re trying to get any work done), there’s decent water pressure in the showers, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a jet engine – you’d be amazed how many places mess up these basics. The building itself feels secure without being intimidating, and the staff genuinely seem to know what they’re doing rather than just going through the motions. Parking can get a bit tight during peak hours, but that’s more of a BGC thing than an Avant thing. The location really is the star here though – you can walk to High Street for dinner, grab coffee at any number of good spots within a few blocks, and if you need to get to Makati for meetings or whatever, you’re not dealing with the nightmare traffic that comes with staying further out. It’s one of those places where you end up extending your stay because checking out and dealing with Manila traffic suddenly seems way less appealing than just… staying put for another night.

  A huge apartment with ever thing you need washing machine, full kitchen with stove oven microwave fridge/freezer, kettle, iron and board, smart tv and a whole lot more. Staff were responsive. Great view over the city and a easy walk to all the attractions. Best thing was the price as it offers outstanding value for money.

  Staff were friendly and responsive. Apartment was very clean and comfortable and everything we needed for our stay in fact it had a lot more than you would find in other serviced apartments at a much higher price. It is located in an exclusive area of BGC with a wide variety of restaurants close by.

  Large, comfortable and clean apartment with more amenities than you would expect for the price. Staff were very efficient and friendly. An ideal base if you are in BGC for business or leisure as banks, restaurants, supermarket and jogging track just outside the front door.

  I was shocked when I shared the elevator with an A-list celebrity but I can understand why they would wish to stay here as its a great place to relax and is very secure. Unlike a 5 star chain hotel on my last trip that has guard dogs, x-ray machines and guards watching your every move and that is just to check in. This place is unpretentious the staff assist you when required and then get out of your way.

  great value for money, comfortable and clean apartment with a nice view of the city skyline. Staff are friendly and efficient even at 2 am when I checked in. Lots of restaurants and even a supermarket with in a 2 min walk.
