BGC Private Apartments Overview

You know what caught me off guard about BGC Private Apartments? I was expecting just another generic serviced apartment, but this place actually feels like someone put real thought into making guests comfortable. It’s tucked right at the corner of 25th and 11th Avenue in Taguig, which honestly is one of the better spots you could ask for in BGC – close enough to all the action but far enough from the main Bonifacio High Street chaos that you can actually sleep at night.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious, and I mean that in the best way. Most places in Manila’s business district pack you into shoebox-sized rooms, but here you get actual living space that doesn’t feel cramped. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, not just for show – I actually cooked a few meals during my stay, which saved me from eating at overpriced BGC restaurants every single night. The four-star rating makes sense when you see the attention to detail in the rooms; everything from the bedding to the bathroom fixtures feels like they’ve invested in quality rather than just going with whatever’s cheapest. Though I’ll be honest, the Wi-Fi can get a bit spotty during peak hours when everyone’s streaming Netflix – not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing if you’re planning to work from the room.

What really sold me on this place was the location intelligence, if that makes sense. You’re literally a five-minute walk from Market! Market! (perfect for groceries or just escaping the heat), and Serendra’s restaurants are right there when you want something fancier than room service. The Fort Strip is close enough for nightlife without the noise carrying over – trust me, I’ve stayed at places where you hear every drunk expat stumbling home at 3 AM. Here, the 25th Street side stays relatively quiet. Getting around is actually easy too; there are jeepneys right on 11th Avenue that’ll take you to Makati if you’re feeling adventurous with local transport, or just grab a Grab – drivers know the building and can find it without the usual Manila address confusion. Parking‘s available if you’re brave enough to drive in this city, though honestly, you won’t need a car staying here. The whole BGC area is walkable, which is rare for Manila, and you’ve got everything from coffee shops to banks within a few blocks. For what you get – space, location, and that lived-in comfort that’s hard to find in business hotels – the value is pretty solid. Just don’t expect resort-style amenities; this is more about having a proper base in one of Manila’s most convenient neighborhoods.

  • Good and not so good points.. – Jones from United Kingdom – April 19, 2025 (7/10)

Close to BGC High street and other attractions. Good security. Good space with all necessary implements in the kitchen. Small but ok balcony could just do with a chair out there. Nice pool area, and goos to jave lots of local.shops for anything forgotten.

What could be improved: Air con in 2nd bedroom very loud and impossible to keep on, meaning a very hot and disturbing night. No TV channels which iss a problem for longer stays. Netflix worked intermittently. Need to fix bathroom wall, bit unsightly and makes the place seem cheap. Very hard mattress, could do with a topper.

  • Exceeded my expectations 😊 – Balsy from Australia – February 7, 2025 (10/10)

The host and the rest of the staff were all very accommodating and helpful. The location was perfect, close to the shops and restaurants. The unit was clean and very comfortable to stay in. Also had good wifi and access to Netflix was a bonus. My family enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Highly recommended! Will definitely be back!

    Convenience

  • Overall our stay in the apartment was good. The property location is fantastic. – Claudette from Australia – December 1, 2024 (8/10)

The location of the property is fantastic. Walking distance to Market Market and SM Aura. The person who gave the keys was very friendly. The property security is fantastic, there are boom gates with security guards before you can enter the property.

What could be improved: The aircon in the bedrooms are really loud. The Bathroom was small and can do with a bit of a revamp as the shower is old.

  • No doubt we would stay in the same property owned by Tom in our next visit. Thanking Tom and staff for making our stay m – Dingdong from United States – November 17, 2024 (10/10)

The property is very clean, perfect place for the whole family. Wonderful tv amenities – lots of programs to choose from. Having a big tv makes the place feel like home away from home :). Staff are very nice, very hospitable.

What could be improved: I do love the property a lot! The only confusion was the building is named differently in booking.com. So I got confused where was it located despite having the same address location.
