You know what caught me off guard about City Outside. Tranquility Inside. (2 Bedroom)? The name actually makes perfect sense once you’re there. I mean, you’re right in the heart of Quezon City – literally in the Neopolitan VI area where there’s always something happening – but step inside this place and it’s like someone hit the mute button on Manila’s usual chaos.

The two-bedroom setup is honestly more spacious than I expected, and I’ve stayed in plenty of four-star places that felt cramped by comparison. What I really appreciated was how they’ve set it up for people who actually need to live a bit, not just crash for a night. The kitchen isn’t just for show (you can actually cook a proper meal), and there’s enough counter space that you’re not playing Tetris with your coffee and laptop. The bedrooms are on opposite sides, which – trust me – matters if you’re traveling with family or friends who have different sleep schedules. I could hear the city humming outside, but it was more of a gentle white noise than the usual Manila traffic symphony that keeps you up.

The Sitio Seville location is pretty clever, actually. You’re close enough to the main Quezon City action that grabbing food or hitting the malls doesn’t require a major expedition, but you’re tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant parade of jeepneys and tricycles right outside your window. The 9.3 rating makes sense to me – it’s one of those places where the little things work properly. Hot water that’s actually hot, wifi that doesn’t cut out every twenty minutes, air conditioning that doesn’t sound like it’s preparing for takeoff. Honestly, after dealing with some of the quirks you get in Manila accommodations, having everything just… work… feels like a small miracle. The whole setup feels more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment than staying in a hotel, which I think is exactly what they’re going for with that “tranquility inside” promise.

  Heidi and Peter were both great getting us a few items if we needed them. The property was close to where we wanted to be so that was great and the neighborhood was good.
  
  What could be improved: Just really looking for everything to say, it would have been nice to have a vacuum cleaner in here unit instead of having to ask for one each time we wanted to use it along with a mop and pale, but we were also a last minute booking there and a longer stay than usual probably, being 27 days. We had to rebook here from another Airbnb due to issues with it and within 4 hours or so, we moved to this location.
