Condo with Balcony at Makati SM Jazz Overview
First Impressions
Walking into the Condo with Balcony at Makati SM Jazz, you immediately get that “this is actually someone’s home” feeling — which, honestly, is exactly what makes this four-star property so appealing. It’s not your typical hotel setup, and that’s the point. The building itself sits right at Metropolitan Avenue Corner N. Garcia, and I mean right there — you can’t miss it. What struck me first was how the space feels lived-in but polished, like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place who happens to have excellent taste.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s impressive? This place scored a 9.4 for location, and after spending time here, I totally get why. Makati is Manila’s business district, sure, but this particular corner puts you within walking distance of SM Jazz — which locals will tell you is one of the more manageable malls in the area. The Metropolitan Avenue location means you’re connected to everything without being stuck in the absolute chaos of the main commercial strips. Couples seem to particularly love it here (they rated the location 8.8), and I think it’s because you get that urban energy without feeling like you’re camping out in Times Square.
The Space & Balcony
The balcony is honestly the star of the show — it’s not just a tiny ledge with a chair, but actual outdoor space where you can sit with your morning coffee and watch Makati wake up. The condo itself feels more spacious than typical Manila accommodations, with that residential layout that gives you room to actually unpack and settle in. I appreciated having a proper living area separate from the bedroom; it makes longer stays feel less cramped. The decor strikes that sweet spot between homey and upscale without trying too hard to impress.
Practical Matters
Here’s something that’ll matter if you’re driving — they actually have on-site parking, which in this part of Manila is basically gold. I’ve stayed at places where finding parking meant circling blocks for twenty minutes, so having a guaranteed spot is huge. The building management is responsive, and you get that condo-style service where things feel more personal than a big hotel chain. The kitchen setup is functional if you want to grab groceries from SM and cook something simple, though honestly, with all the food options nearby, you might not need it.
Why Guests Love It
What keeps people coming back is that residential feel combined with a genuinely smart location choice. You’re in Makati’s top-rated area — that 9.4 location score isn’t just marketing fluff — but you’re staying somewhere that feels like a home base rather than just a place to crash. The balcony gives you breathing room in a dense city, the parking solves a real problem, and the whole setup works whether you’re here for business or exploring Manila. It’s that rare find where the practical stuff (location, parking, space) aligns perfectly with the experience you actually want.

Good stay in SM Jazz, however, you need to count with going through facility security first – everything explained while booking, so we counted with it. If you want to use the pools, need to sign up in advance for vouchers and pay accordingly. Good location to the airport and city for exploration, safe neighborhood.
What could be improved: Room for 3 people extremely small, recommend for couple. But we knew this in advance.Wonderful – 🇵🇭🇪🇸🎄🌟 from Philippines – December 22, 2024 (9/10)
Thank you again. See you next time.
Convenient short term stay in SM Jazz – Borisz from Germany – December 2, 2024 (9/10)
Convenient location as part of SM Jazz. Nice pool area, even for sitting and chilling. Good communication with the hosts, very helpful. Easy check-in and checkout experience. The wifi was good.
What could be improved: Getting the essentials (shower gel, etc) would have been nice as we were on a short trip and didn't want to pack all that. We did receive 4 bottles of small water, but that's not enough for an overnight stay, we needed to buy a big (gallon of water) – perhaps it would be nice if that was provided. Even though there was Netflix on the TV, it didn't seem to work (got stuck loading any movie we tried.) Bit these are just smaller things. Overall it was a good stay.Perfect location and satisfactory apartment for a reasonable price – Andrea from Netherlands – November 11, 2024 (7/10)
The central location in Manila
What could be improved: The furnishings of the apartament, the building itself and the paid swimming pool is no fun at all as only swimming is allowed and nothing else.Good equipped apartment with cockroaches – Oleksandr from Ukraine – May 12, 2024 (7/10)
There is a pleasant view from the balcony. It was pretty easy to check in. There were small compliments from the host. I have almost everything I need for a comfortable stay.
What could be improved: There are cockroaches in the apartment. There are lots of dust on surfaces in the apartment. In my opinion, there are too much cats(toys/pictures) in the apartment. Some stuff need renovation.Warm and cozy! – Ma from Philippines – May 8, 2024 (9/10)
The host was so accommodating and very responsive. My son and friends felt safe in this unit. It was very cozy and clean.
