Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of airport hotels, and most of them feel like glorified waiting rooms – but Cozy City View Condo @ Newport NAIA T3 Airport & RWM actually surprised me. This four-star spot sits right on Newport Boulevard, which honestly feels more like being in a mini-city than stuck in some airport wasteland. You know what I mean? There’s actually life happening around you.

The thing that got me right away was stepping out onto that balcony and seeing Manila’s skyline stretching out instead of just runway lights and cargo planes. I mean, you’re still close enough to Terminal 3 that you can literally walk there in about ten minutes (trust me, I timed it), but somehow it doesn’t feel like you’re camping out at the airport. The condo setup is what really makes the difference here – you’ve got a proper kitchen, which saved me a fortune during my three-day layover situation. There’s something weirdly satisfying about making coffee in your own space while watching the city wake up, even when you’re technically just passing through.

What I really appreciated was how the whole Newport area has this sort of contained ecosystem going on. You’ve got Resorts World right there if you want to grab dinner or catch a movie, and the mall connected to it means you’re not hunting around Pasay for basic stuff. The staff at the condo actually knows the area too – they pointed me toward this local breakfast place about two blocks away that I never would’ve found otherwise. Honestly, with a 9.2 rating, I was expecting it to be one of those places that looks great in photos but falls apart in person. But the Wi-Fi actually works (crucial for work calls), the AC keeps up with Manila’s heat, and I slept better than I have in most city hotels. The only minor thing is that weekend nights can get a bit lively with the casino crowd, but honestly, if you’re exhausted from travel, you’ll sleep through anything anyway.
