Field Residences Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Field Residences, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect from this four-star property tucked away in Paranaque. The building itself has this sleek, modern residential vibe that immediately tells you this isn’t your typical hotel setup, and honestly? That turned out to be exactly what made it special.

What struck me right away was how quiet everything felt, even though you’re still technically in the Manila metro area. The lobby has this clean, almost minimalist aesthetic – not cold, just uncluttered in a way that feels refreshing after dealing with the organized chaos that is Manila traffic. The staff actually remembered my name by the second day, which you know, doesn’t always happen at bigger chain hotels. My room was spacious in that “I could actually unpack all my stuff” kind of way, with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of natural light. The bed was legitimately comfortable – I’m talking about the kind of sleep where you wake up confused about what time zone you’re in.

Here’s what I really appreciated though: the location gives you this perfect balance of being connected but not overwhelmed. You’re close enough to Makati and the main business districts that a taxi or Grab won’t cost you a fortune, but far enough out that you can actually hear yourself think. The nearby area has some solid local food spots – there’s this unassuming Filipino restaurant about a ten-minute walk away that serves incredible sisig, and honestly, discovering places like that is half the fun of staying somewhere that’s not right in the tourist center. The hotel’s pool area is actually usable too, not just Instagram-pretty, and the gym has equipment that works (trust me, this isn’t always a given). Parking was straightforward, which if you’ve ever tried to navigate Manila by car, you’ll know is basically a small miracle. The whole experience felt more like staying in a really nice apartment building than a traditional hotel, and with a 9.3 rating, I clearly wasn’t the only one who thought they were onto something good here.

Reviews of Field Residences

  • Everything was good and we will definitely book this property again. – Lorena from United Kingdom – July 4, 2025 (7/10)

The unit is clean, spacious, next to SM city mall Sucat and well secured area. Maria, the host replies to email if not on the same day, mostly the next day, and all of our requests for visitor’s pass has been forwarded to admin/lobby guards. All security personnel are respectful and welcoming.

What could be improved: With our 4 weeks of stay, there’s more than a week of no internet connection due to maintenance work but it’s an isolated cases because we didn’t get this experience before the first time we stayed here.

  • Exceptional – Khoji from New Zealand – May 28, 2025 (10/10)

  • Exceptional – Douglas from United States – April 30, 2025 (10/10)

This is a large one bedroom condo with an exceptional layout. Everything is clean and in good working order. A very comfortable bed and nice bath made this stay a pleasure.

  • Best at Field Residences – Douglas from United States – March 3, 2025 (10/10)

This is by far the best condo we have stayed in. Excellent location, spacious, well equipped. Would recommend this to everyone.

  • Comfortable stay. Would recommend – Liesl from United States – February 13, 2025 (10/10)

Location was good. SM was close. Spacious and clean. Maybe need more utensils.

What could be improved: Construction going on property. Tea kettle rusting. May want to replace it. Could use more teaspoons.

  • Wonderful – Anna from Philippines – December 5, 2024 (9/10)

very convenient. my second time booking this property

    What could be improved: none

  • It was comfortable other than the three things we didnt like about the property. – Anna from Philippines – July 7, 2024 (8/10)

It is close to airport and mall, clean, we can do our laundry and cook our food. Pool view. Legit when booked in legit apps.

What could be improved: Theres no parking space included. We had to pay for parking separately. Internet connection was not available multiple times. There was a construction ongoing next to the unit. It was loud.

  • Overall, it was a pleasant stay and would highly recommend the place. Would return too in future. – Leonor from Singapore – January 7, 2024 (10/10)

The host/owner graciously allowed us to check in early as our arrival was at 7 am and granted our other request. Thank you, Maria. The location is good as it is near the airport and SM Sucat. The unit is almost complete with stuff especially the fridge and washing machine to stay for 9 nights. The bed is like in the hotel with comfy bedsheets and pillows. The living room is spacious and the unit design was good compared to other condotel. It is homey. A good place to stay for a vacation with family or friends.

What could be improved: The unit is almost perfect except for minor repairs needed for the rain shower, and the toilet sink as the flow of water is slow and the bulb in the living room was not replaced after it was turned off after a night of stay.
The deposit. The staff should be there during our check out to see the place and give back to me the deposit like other condotel do. I was grateful to be granted 1 one-hour extension and was told to leave by 12 noon rushing then the staff didn't turn out at 12 noon saying she would be delayed and had no time to meet us. Our flight was on the same day so I we couldn't wait in the lobby with pieces of luggage and in a warm place. The deposit was sent back to me online though after I told her we needed to leave early and we couldn't wait for her.
