The Barangay Pasong Putik area is one of those neighborhoods that’s busy enough to feel safe but not so crazy that you can’t get a good night’s sleep – well, most nights anyway.

The two-bedroom setup is genuinely useful, not just marketing fluff. The living area doesn’t feel like an afterthought, and the kitchen actually has proper counter space, which is rare around here. I ended up cooking a few meals because honestly, sometimes you just want to eat something other than mall food, you know? The furnishings are decent quality – not luxury hotel level, but definitely better than your average extended stay place. What impressed me most was how clean everything felt, and the building management seems pretty on top of maintenance issues. Check-in was straightforward through The Redwoods management, though I’d recommend confirming your arrival time because the building reception keeps regular hours. If you’re coming from NAIA, the ride up here can be a bit of a trek depending on traffic, but once you’re settled, you’re really well-positioned to explore this part of QC without the usual hassles of finding decent accommodation near the major shopping areas.
