Honestly, when I first pulled up to H&H at Grace Residences, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the building sits right on Cayetano Boulevard in Ususan, and while the area’s been developing fast, it still has that slightly industrial Taguig feel. But you know what? Sometimes the best finds are in these transitional neighborhoods, and this four-star spot turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something before everyone else catches on.

The thing about staying in this part of Taguig is that you’re actually positioned pretty smartly if you know the area – you’re close enough to BGC’s business district without paying those crazy Bonifacio Global City hotel rates, and the jeepney routes along Cayetano make it easy to get around if you’re not renting a car. I mean, it’s not the most scenic street in Metro Manila, but the Grace Residences complex itself feels like a little oasis once you’re inside. The lobby has this modern, clean vibe that immediately signals they’re taking things seriously here, and honestly, the staff seemed genuinely happy to see guests – not that practiced hospitality smile you get at some places.

What really won me over was how they’ve managed to create actual comfort in what could have easily been just another condo-hotel conversion. The rooms are spacious enough that you’re not bumping into furniture every time you turn around, and they’ve got these floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of natural light during the day. The air conditioning actually works properly (which, let’s be real, is never guaranteed in Manila), and I didn’t have any of those middle-of-the-night temperature battles you sometimes get in budget places. The kitchenette setup is particularly clever if you’re staying more than a couple nights – there’s a decent-sized fridge and enough counter space to actually prepare simple meals, which saves you from eating out every single meal in a city where restaurant costs add up fast. I also appreciated that they’ve got reliable wifi throughout the building, not just in the lobby, which matters when you’re trying to get work done or navigate the city using maps on your phone. The whole experience felt more like borrowing a friend’s really nice apartment than staying in a typical hotel, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re spending time in a sprawling city like Manila.

  This was our second stay at H&H, and they exceeded our expectations once again. Everything was absolutely perfect. There's no need to worry about toiletries because they provide a comprehensive selection, including conditioner. They even included a projector in a room with a Netflix account.   The location isn't so far from our event venue at SMX Convention Center Aura + SM Aura Mall. It's near the Venice Mall and the airport as well. The host was so helpful and responsive. The unit is nice, modern, quite clean, and complete with everything you need. The towels and linens smelled nice. There are games (play station, board games, karaoke) + Netflix. There are snacks and drinks in the unit at a reasonable price (see the prices at the book provided by the host). The building management said max. 2 guests are allowed to buy tickets for swimming for 150 pesos per person (holiday 300 pesos per person). Our kids 10 and 6 were free to swim. There is a convenience store (they sell fruits, vegetables, and frozen meat as well), a small mall, some restaurants, and Starbucks near the entrance. It's easy to get a taxi or just use the grab car service for more convenience. We will come back again for sure when we have an event at the nearby location. Thank you.
