The location on Newport Boulevard is honestly pretty sweet – you’re right in the thick of Newport City’s whole entertainment district thing, which I didn’t realize was such a developed area until I walked around a bit. There’s this whole ecosystem of restaurants, bars, and even a decent mall within walking distance, so you’re not stuck eating overpriced room service if you don’t want to. The four-star rating feels about right – it’s polished without being stuffy, and the family suites are genuinely spacious. I stayed in one of the larger units and was surprised by how much room there was to spread out, which is clutch when you’re dealing with kids or just have too much luggage (guilty as charged). The kitchenette setup is actually functional too, not just decorative – I made coffee there every morning and it didn’t feel like I was performing surgery on a tiny counter.

What really sold me though was how quiet it stays despite being so close to the airport action. You’d think with NAIA T3 literally minutes away you’d be hearing planes all night, but the soundproofing is solid. I’m a light sleeper and managed fine, even during what I assume were the busier flight hours. The staff here gets the whole transit hotel thing – they’re used to people coming and going at weird hours, early checkouts, late arrivals, all that stuff that can be a headache elsewhere. Honestly, the 8.4 rating makes sense when you factor in how smoothly everything runs. The shuttle to the terminal is reliable (I used it twice), but you could honestly walk if you’re not loaded down with bags. Pasay isn’t exactly a tourist destination on its own, but this spot in Newport City feels like its own little bubble – clean, safe, with enough going on that you don’t feel like you’re just killing time between flights. If you’re doing the whole extended layover thing or need somewhere decent to crash before an early international flight, this place actually works as more than just a place to sleep.

  Location – proximity to the airport. 5-10 minutes by car/grab with traffic taken into consideration. 15 minute walk via runway manila.
  Host is very responsive, co-host and personnel very kind and accommodating.
  Unit is well furnished and decorated nicely. Area is functional. For a short stay and its price, it is acceptable but not superb.
  
  What could be improved: Appliances not maintained well. Aircon in the living room started to leak on the first night. Water heater in bathroom is either non-existent or very weak. There was a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the bed room, which as claimed by the host may be from neighboring units indicating ventilation issues. Soundproofing not good, big gap under the main door which makes all the sound in the hallway audible when staying in the living room. Watered down hand soap and dish washing soap. Building elevator even went out of service when we were checking out.
