I mean, when you’re walking down 8th Avenue in Taguig, you almost miss it because it blends so naturally into the upscale BGC neighborhood – which honestly is exactly what you want when you’re trying to live like a local for a few days.

The thing about this four-star property is that it gets the balance just right between hotel services and apartment living. Your unit comes with a proper kitchenette (not one of those sad mini-fridges), which became my lifesaver when I wanted to grab fresh mangoes from the nearby Market! Market! and actually have somewhere to store them. The living spaces are genuinely spacious too – I’m talking about room to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re playing Tetris with your luggage. And the views? Well, if you snag one of the higher floors, you’re looking out over the BGC skyline, which is pretty spectacular at sunset when all those glass towers catch the light.

What really sold me on the place though was how it sits right in the heart of everything without the chaos. You’re literally walking distance from High Street and all those restaurants everyone raves about, but when you come back at night, it’s actually quiet enough to sleep properly – something that’s not always guaranteed in Manila, let me tell you. The building itself feels secure and well-maintained, which gave me that peace of mind you want when you’re exploring a new city. Plus, the staff genuinely seems to know the area well; they pointed me toward this incredible hole-in-the-wall sisig place that I never would have found on my own. I mean, with an 8.4 rating, you’d expect decent service, but they really went beyond just being polite – they were actually helpful in that way that makes you feel like you’ve got local friends looking out for you.

  This is located in a great part with restuarants and shopping all around. BGC is very walkable from this location. The room is very comfortable and value for money
