You’re genuinely close to the university belt – UP Diliman is maybe fifteen minutes depending on traffic, Ateneo’s not much farther. But here’s what I didn’t expect: it’s also surprisingly easy to get to Commonwealth Avenue when you need to head toward the MRT or connect to other parts of Metro Manila. The Batasan area itself is pretty quiet, especially in the evenings, so you’re not dealing with constant noise from jeepneys and tricycles like you would closer to the main commercial strips.
