The location is absolutely brilliant – I mean, you’re literally steps from Magallanes MRT, which is a game-changer if you’re trying to get around Makati without dealing with the infamous Manila traffic.

What really struck me about this four-star place is how it feels more like a proper residence than your typical hotel. The tower setup means you get these great city views (especially from the higher floors), and honestly, the rooms are spacious enough that you don’t feel cramped even if you’re staying for a week or more. I stayed during one of those sweltering Manila months, and the air conditioning was powerful enough to make you forget it’s basically an oven outside. The mall connection is actually pretty genius – you can grab everything from groceries to a quick meal without stepping into the heat and humidity. There’s this casual restaurant on the ground level where locals hang out, which is always a good sign in my book.

Here’s what I really appreciated: the staff actually knows the area well. When I asked about getting to BGC for a meeting, they didn’t just say “take a taxi” – they walked me through the MRT route and mentioned which exits to use. Small stuff like that makes a difference. The building itself is modern without being sterile, and you get a real sense that this is where actual Manila residents live and work. Chino Roces Avenue can get pretty busy during rush hour (I mean, what doesn’t in this city?), but the double-glazed windows keep most of the noise out. The only minor thing – and this is really minor – is that the elevator can get crowded around 8 AM when everyone’s heading to work, but honestly, that just adds to the authentic Manila experience. With a 9.1 rating from other travelers, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks this place gets the balance right between comfort, location, and that local feel you can’t manufacture.

  l'appartamento e' situato in un bel palazzo con security all'ingresso, nelle immediate vicinanze c'e' una mall con supermercato, ATM e ristoranti. l'appartamento e' in ottime condizioni e molto confortevole, non troppo distante dall'aeroporto . la proprietaria e chi se ne occupa sono molto gentili, mi hanno organizzato anche un driver per portarmi a visitare il vulcano TAAL .   Vanessa was a great host – she was always so quick at responding and answering questions. The attention to detail at the apartment was appreciated and had everything you needed – perfect for one person! The location was in a great location with the MRT downstairs and the mall with food and supermarkets. The security were friendly and helpful. There are food vendors across the street when you wanted that late night dinner. I loved the TV in the bedroom, it was cosy and comfortable. Would definitely come back!
  
  What could be improved: There is no AC in the living room although equipped with a ceiling fan and an electric fan, so it can get warm! It would be good to have a little clothes dryer to hang out small items that have been washed like underwear.

  The unit was very clean! You can tell that the owner put time into decorating it. The decor was very cute and felt homey. The was plenty of seating so you can have guests. I would book again.
  
  What could be improved: Everything was great except for the A/C situation. I was confused to why the living room didn't have A/C but the bedroom did. The bedroom was nice and cold but the living room was hot. There was a fan in the living room but it blew hot hair. The A/C in the bedroom made a rattling noise that made it hard to fall asleep.

  This is such a comfortable, beautifully-decorated apartment – I wish I could move in! It has everything you need in a compact space, and lots of nice decorative objects. It also has AC and a fan. It is right next to a mall with food options, grocery stores and some shops. Very easy to move around with Grab. Loved my stay!

  房間雖小，但該有的都有，房間一張小的雙人床，但有一張沙發床，所以兩個人也可以睡
  
  半夜上廁所的時候，會有蟑螂從下水道爬出來

  Lillian and Vanessa’s place is a true gem in Makati, Philippines. The location offers easy access to malls, restaurants, and the Magallanes MRT station — making it an ideal base for exploring the city. As a minimalist myself, I found the space to be the perfect introduction to the Philippines. The unit is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully maintained.   Really clean and fresh in all. Perfect well equiped kitchen/pentry with all necessary tools. Tv/wifi worked really 100 %.
