You know what struck me first about The Grass Residences? The name actually makes sense when you see it – there’s this unexpected amount of greenery scattered throughout the property that feels pretty refreshing in the middle of Quezon City’s urban sprawl. I mean, QC isn’t exactly known for its tranquil spaces, but somehow they’ve managed to create this sort of oasis that doesn’t feel forced or overly manicured.

The five-star rating isn’t just for show here – you can tell from the moment you walk into the lobby. The staff actually remembers your name after the first day (which honestly surprised me), and the whole check-in process was smooth without that sterile luxury hotel vibe some places push too hard. What I really appreciated was how they handle the practical stuff well – the elevators are fast, which matters more than you’d think when you’re on the higher floors, and the key cards actually work consistently. Small things, but they add up when you’re staying somewhere for more than a night or two.

The rooms have this modern Filipino aesthetic that doesn’t feel like they’re trying to impress tourists with over-the-top local touches. It’s subtle – maybe it’s the wood choices or the way they’ve arranged the lighting, but it feels genuinely connected to Manila without being kitschy. The beds are properly comfortable (I’m picky about mattresses), and the bathroom setup is smart – good water pressure and they’ve figured out the hot water situation, which isn’t always a given even at nice places in the area. One thing that stood out was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re right in the thick of QC. They must have decent soundproofing because the traffic noise that’s usually constant background music in this part of the city pretty much disappears once you’re inside. The location works really well if you need to get around Metro Manila – you’re close enough to the main thoroughfares without being stuck in the worst of the Quezon Avenue traffic mess. There are solid local restaurants within walking distance too, not just the usual hotel dining options, which I always prefer when I’m trying to get a real feel for a place.

  Ami kifejezetten tetszett az maximum a tulajdonos kommunikációja. Lehetett maradni kijelentkezes után is ami 200 peso óránként.
  
  What could be improved: Sajnos az előre kiirt bejelentkezesi időpontban nem volt lehetőségem elfoglalni a szállást. Ez volt az első rossz tapasztalatom. A szobába feléreve nyitott ajtó és a takarítás jelei fogadtak. A hűtőben ott volt a maradék amit nekem kellett kidobni. A fürdőszobában állt a víz így a felmosas is rám hárult.

  I like the staff, very accommodating and ina assist nya tlg kami. Although there is some miscommunication but then again naayos din naman.And yung nag assist namin, so kind and accomodating. Thanks sa kanya.

  What could be improved: Sa unit wala naman akong hindi nagustuhan, but in the grass residence in general when it comes to there rules mejo naguluhan lang ako. Siguro mas improve pa yung gusto nilang ipa implement para aware ang mga guest to avoid stress and hassle kasi kya nga nag staycation to relax and relived at makapag rest tlg. But all in all it was nice naman ang stay namin.
